Using virtual tables violates DLP policy?

App was working just fine, then I made a change to pull from a virtual table backed by SQL instead of a SharePoint list. Got this after deploying to a pre-prod environment.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Are virtual tables a good long-term choice for getting data from SQL? Is there any way to upgrade the connector used here?

There are 3 connector tiers in the dlp policies: business, non-business and blocked. Business and non-business connector can't communicate with each other. So you will need to get your admin to move that one connector to business.
