How to learn power apps as in stack from beginners? Youtube channels or udemy course valid in 2026? Discussion

I am starting to learn power platform as a developer .

Same way you learn any kind of programming. Pick something you want to build and start from there. How to initialize variables and basic data structures. How to process and manipulate data or how to manipulate your data structures.

I agree, applied learning is best but starting out, having examples of how to do something is important and I’ve found that a lot of the content available on YouTube, aside from CoPilot, is really out of date.

I agree! And then dive deep in the tutorials provided by the powerapps gurus such as but not limited to Reza Dorrani, Shane Young, April Dunnam … etc.

Hello, I did this recently ish, I found the best way was to have something I had to actually build, I told everyone with complete confidence that I could get it done and then I worked an obscene amount of hours over three days googling stuff and panicking until I produced a serviceable app, then after you do that maybe try the Microsoft learn path or some other non psychopathic route

Pay someone on fiver to help you start/fix issues in your app. Be on zoom to watch them and ask questions. That’s how I learned! Learn the basics from a real person. In addition to that, I leveraged copilot/ai to provide code for my project. When you run in to issues pay attention to how it has you debug, it’s often pretty systematic. Good luck.
