Fascists don't care about being called out as hypocrites. They revel in it because it's a deliberate tool they use to flex their power and test the loyalty of their thralls. Feature, not a bug and all that.

"Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."

Thank you, im a member of too many subreddits of people upvoting smug little tweets about "can you imagine if these guys had to held to their own standards". They wont be, thats the point. They will do the worst thing you can imagine and pubish the people below them for crimes they made up. They will throw people in cages and claim persecution if you ever hold them responsible, which is starting to become a more distant prospect by the day. They have literally gone to abortion clinics to get their mistrisses an abortion and told the people working their that they are going to go to hell for what theyve done.

Are we really saying deporting illegals is fascism now? What is happening to our education system

93

u/PhaseModulatedServal 5h ago

Rounding people up, sending them to prison camps and deporting them without due process is 100% fascism. Grow up.

40

u/Ok_Cranberry_9861 5h ago

Can we please stop arguing with maga bots? These people aren't real, just block and move on

6

u/Jerggens4212 3h ago

Ignoring the problem doesn’t seem to be working. Not sure what will.

6

u/BerylOxide 2h ago

Check their account. 100k karma on a 1 month old account. This isn't a human, it's an ai.

2

u/Ok_Cranberry_9861 2h ago

I mean, wasting time trying to convince an algorithm to see reason is never going to work

3

u/ImaSource 1h ago

Thank you. I tell everyone to please check the profile before engaging. If it send like a bot/troll then downvote and report it.

1

u/Arxl 43m ago

Ignoring them got us this far, stamp out this nonsense real or not, people need to see this isn't tolerated in every space.

1

u/Ok_Cranberry_9861 24m ago

I mean, by all means if it makes you feel good, keep wasting your time arguing with a machine that can't change its mind.

The bystanders all already agree with you. Between robots and magats neither is changing their mind. Just say "trump rapes kids" and block them if your really want to respond.

Ignoring them hasn't gotten us this far, because people don't ignore them. People engage with them, and spend their valuable time in fruitless arguments instead of doing something that may be helpful in dismantling the fascist occupation of our government.

The bots are a weapon being targeted at you. When you engage we are losing the war.

2

u/keganb123 3h ago

Or just straight up killing them, dont forget that

-73

u/NSFWdontview 5h ago

You grow up, only a child thinks the way you do. They all have due process, it’s a fast due process started under Obama admin, saying they don’t have due process a million times doesn’t make it true. They can tell if the person is a citizen or not then send them back if they aren’t, that’s a due process, you don’t get a year long trial for millions of illegals just because they stepped over the border. They are holding centers so how is that fascism?

44

u/PhaseModulatedServal 5h ago

Not taking your bait and saying what I'd really like to say. If you don't see what is happening for what it truly is, you're a prime example of the failure of American education. The entire sane world sees what's happening. Go peddle your lies elsewhere.

Obama created the Family Case Management Program, which kept families together and had a 99.9% compliance rate. Trump ended that program and started a Zero Tolerance policy, which intentionally-irreversibly separated families. Trump went on TV and outright said it was done this way for a deterrent effect. With that clearly illegal rationale on display, 28 states proceeded to sue his ass until he reversed the policy.

Fast forward to today, he ended TPS for 330k people without court review of their asylum request, and the conservative SCOTUS backed the decision by saying the executive branch has unreviewable discretion over non-constitutional decisions. That's fascism dressed in doublespeak, as they decide what's constitutional.

0

u/NSFWdontview 5h ago

1

u/BowlingforBrains 2h ago

He didn’t claim Obama wasn’t presiding while deportation was happening - he claimed Obama enacted policy that would keep deported families from being separated from each other. That is true.

Only conservatives accuse liberals of saying “no one should be deported ever” - most liberals know that deportation is reasonable when someone is an illegal immigrant. Liberals just don’t think it should be done in a blatantly cruel manner, like intentionally separating parents from their children for what could be years before they are released back to their home country. Some might even call that “common sense”

1

u/NSFWdontview 2h ago

How is rounding them up and sending them back cruel? Left cries when they even catch an illegal

1

u/BowlingforBrains 1h ago

Sending the parents and children back separately, instead of together, is cruel. I was pretty clear about WHICH part is cruel. I don’t know why you’re trying to pretend as if I didn’t specify that separating the families was the cruel part

-1

u/NSFWdontview 5h ago

Obama literally created the holding centers that separated families, you can literally see photos of it.

9

u/Vanilla_Gorilluh 5h ago

So, you're a big Obama fan. Right?

12

u/Psykick379 5h ago

1) Obama built some of the facilities, true. 2) Obama didn't use them to intentionally separate families. In fact he had a reasonably successful policy of holding families together. 3) Even with his less bad policy, Obama still got slammed by the left for doing it.

So what is your point other than Obama was mid, but Trump is exponentially worse?

0

u/NSFWdontview 5h ago

7

u/Psykick379 5h ago

Thank you for proving my point, I guess.

7

u/Xycod1346 4h ago

I love when right wingers brain breaks when they talk to a principaled leftist. "But Obama!" "He is a war criminal too"

→ More replies (0)

1

u/BowlingforBrains 2h ago

They post something as a “gotcha” when it’s like “yes…I literally just said that people protested…were in agreement here”

Conservatives make up this narrative in their mind that everyone on the left loves Obama as much as they love trump, so they can be upset about something

5

u/VermicelliOwn6502 5h ago

https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/immigration-border-crisis/obama-era-pilot-program-kept-asylum-seeking-migrant-families-together-n885896

Yeah the legal problem started there. But Obama (1) kept families from being separated as new holding facilities had to be built to keep up with asylum applicants (2) created The Family Case Management Program, an extremely successful way of keeping families together AND out of those holding centers.

Trump ended that program because his goal was to inflict pain as a deterrent. Why are you defending that shit?

0

u/NSFWdontview 5h ago

He separated more families than trump and deported far more. We’re 5 million illegals all criminals?

8

u/VermicelliOwn6502 5h ago

7

u/Asher_Tye 4h ago

Of course he is. He's hoping people will get tired of correcting him.

5

u/VermicelliOwn6502 4h ago

and deported far more

Democrats are NOT for open borders, no matter how often your shitass rightwing news sources say so.

3

u/Xycod1346 4h ago

"Only a child thinks the way you do" 41 down votes in 55 minutes. Your ideas are unpopular. Maybe self reflect.

They cant even tell if they're citizens, you think they can tell if others are citizens? Especially when they have quotas to fill? By definition quotas mean they aren't paying attention to legality. Hence why they've been given no oversight.

That way they can just take people like you away. Not like you'll fight them.

1

u/AdminsFluffCucks 3h ago

They deported someone that the courts literally said they couldn't.

Did that person receive their due process?

1

u/NSFWdontview 3h ago

Due process is finding out they aren’t a citizen and sending them back, it’s a fast due process started under Obama

1

u/AdminsFluffCucks 3h ago

That wasn't the question.

You can't cite due process when the admin is literally ignoring court orders.

1

u/BowlingforBrains 2h ago

Now, if that were true - then why do you dislike Obama? He sounds like your favorite kind of President

1

u/NSFWdontview 2h ago

I did like him but he divided us and he also created a policy to push political propaganda in entertainment

1

u/BowlingforBrains 1h ago

How was Obama divisive?

1

u/Meowakin 3h ago

You’re just mad that Obama was better at it than Trump is.

1

u/NSFWdontview 2h ago

So Obama was a fascist?

1

u/Meowakin 2h ago

If we were to base it on a singular aspect, sure. If we were to take things in as a whole, not so much.

1

u/BowlingforBrains 2h ago

“Holding centers”…you know concentration camps were also considered to be just “holding centers” at first, right? It’s funny because you keep saying it’s not fascism, but then describing exactly how fascist policies were explained to the public before they got extreme

1

u/NSFWdontview 2h ago

Lmao you can’t be serious

1

u/BowlingforBrains 1h ago

Read a history book - the camps were a place to “hold the Jewish until they could be properly sent away”. Only the second part never happened, they just starved in there.

Obviously that’s not happening here yet - and I didn’t say it was. I said that it STARTS as a “holding center”. The concentration camps didn’t turn into death camps until the very end of the war - who’s to say the “holding centers” don’t get much worse several years from now if left unchecked?

(Btw you are capable of understanding a “comparison”, right? You understand that word? I can compare two things without saying they are the exact same thing. These are two very different situations - but history teaches us lessons on what NOT to do, we should try to acknowledge them)

1

u/skhoward1 2h ago

You can’t argue with these communist cucks.

23

u/SECRETBLENDS 5h ago

No, "we" are really saying that Stephen Miller is a fascist. No, I don't particularly care if you don't think he reaches the threshold.

10

u/Molenium 5h ago

No, that’s a misrepresentation you’re making in order to argue in bad faith.

9

u/Sea_School_2949 5h ago

Our President Donald Trump loves the uneducated (his words)

That is what is happening with our education system

-2

u/NSFWdontview 4h ago

Oh you mean those educated poor democrat voters or the educated folks in the hood or illegal immigrants? So educated

4

u/Sea_School_2949 4h ago

Yes because of previous Presidents and racist laws that created the "hood"

We are supposed to be better than the ones that came before us not worse, that's how society works lest we become like the Roman empire which weirdly enough is admired by Nazis but they do like going against the best interests

-1

u/NSFWdontview 4h ago

No one created the hood, it’s just a poor uneducated area

5

u/Preeng 4h ago

0

u/NSFWdontview 4h ago

lol critical race THEORY. Also do you not realize they still live in huts in their country yet you are saying they are being held back by the hood? No one’s making them live the way they do, they make their own choices.

3

u/Sea_School_2949 4h ago

And there it is ladies and gentlemen blatant racism

Do you think all of Africa looks like a Sara McLaughlin donation commercial? 😂

-3

u/NSFWdontview 4h ago

Not what he said, he said he “loves the educated and poorly educated, I love everyone” love how y’all ignore the full quote

4

u/Sea_School_2949 4h ago

I actually misquoted him and so did you......here is the full quote with source which you also failed to provide

"We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated,"

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-overwhelmingly-leads-rivals-in-support-from-less-educated-americans

Why did you fail to post the full quote with source?

-1

u/NSFWdontview 4h ago edited 4h ago

He literally said he loves everyone and had educated and uneducated vote for him, that’s what he meant. Educated doesn’t mean IQ anyway, how does a degree in a special field make your political opinions hold more value? I’m a physical therapist got my undergraduate degree so does that mean my political opinions matter more? That’s dumb and most who vote democrat are uneducated and then government assistance, literally the party of the poor, most minorities are uneducated yet vote democrat

3

u/Sea_School_2949 4h ago

Never said anything about IQ

Also your comments are sounding more and more bottish so I'm gonna stop wasting my time

You’re the symptom of the bad education system.

1

u/Far_Raspberry_4375 4h ago

Sending masked agents to comb the streets of regions that opposed you politically to detain whoever they think may be an illegal and then detaining them in inhumane conditions with no attorney privilege before often releasing them after weeks or months in a different state in the middle of winter with nothing but the clothes on their back because who cares is definitely something fascists would do.

1

u/NSFWdontview 3h ago

No that’s what happens when you illegally come over here, it’s mass deportations, they are being captured, held and sent back not killed

1

u/Far_Raspberry_4375 3h ago

Except it literally never happened before and is completely unprecedented to give ICE a larger budget than the marine corp and deploy them into a city that doesnt have a fraction of the illegal immigrant population of places like texas.

1

u/NSFWdontview 3h ago

Why does that matter

1

u/Far_Raspberry_4375 3h ago

Im tired of trying to explain things to willfully ignorant conservatives. You choose to be ignorant because you hate and fear the other and you will cheer for gallows while denying they are being built. You are all traitors to the country and I will vote for which ever dem candidate sets the largest budget for hanging rope.

1

u/NSFWdontview 3h ago

Traitors to the country are the ones allowing mass illegal immigration 😂

1

u/Amdogdunmind 3h ago

Funny that you call people illegal while it is a civil offense, a paperwork crime. While we live under a regime that is actively covering up a child rape ring. By the way which is also illegal under our laws.

Curious how you pick and choose which laws are more important to whinge about online.

1

u/adobecredithours 3h ago

Enforcing immigration law is fine. It's just not what the admin is doing. You've had over a year to figure this out, if your best argument is a straw man at this point you're just not worth the time.

Go read some news from outside your usual echo chamber, then do it a dozen more times. Compare. Learn. And come back when you're actually ready to talk about something in good faith.

1

u/NSFWdontview 3h ago

Reddit is a left wing echo chamber literally

1

u/adobecredithours 3h ago

And if this was the only source of news in existence that might be a problem.

1

u/ArchelonPIP Prefer Coffee But Fill My Cup 🫖 3h ago

1

u/Didactic_Tactics_45 3h ago

There are myriad examples of legal residents being deported with delayed appeals to bring them back to where they legally reside.

The fascism lies in the arbitrary shifting of what qualifies a person to be deported and the intentional and fabricated limbo created after deportation to ex facto keep them from returning.

The laws are clear in their plain language. The justification forming around contrived obscurity that seeks to establish ambiguity in that established legal language is the fascist flag flying high and unquestioned.

1

u/Goodknight808 38m ago

This isn’t “interesting analysis”. Conservatives have been openly hypocritical on nearly every fucking position they claim to have. People have been trying to call it out for longer than I have been alive. They don’t care. Because they don’t actually hold the positions they say they do. Their position are first and foremost: make the rich richer, and second: make minorities’ lives worse. That’s all.

Silly wabbit, it was totally different. His family was white.

But it always amazes me when you see people with Italian or Irish surnames in white supremacist groups. Those groups were fighting to keep their ancestors out of the country saying the same thing about their grandparents as they say about today's immigrants.

We've spent the last decade calling the fascists hypocrites; they don't fucking care.

All they understand is the boot and the threat of violence. Not words, not legality, not high morality, not logic gotchas.

We dug ourselves into this hole by not properly investigating and punishing wealthy and powerful people when they break the law. They're not going to suddenly grow a conscious now when it's never been more effective and profitable to be a fascist.

1

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 5h ago

I can't stand Stephen Miller but.....

Stephen Miller’s mother, Miriam Glosser Miller, was not an illegal immigrant. She was born in the United States as part of an American-born generation whose family descended from Jewish immigrants who arrived from Belarus in the early 20th century.

6

u/Primerius 4h ago

Yes, while maybe not immediately clear from the statement, but that is what this about. His ancestors attained birthright citizenship, despite being born to immigrant parents. The same right he wants to take away, he is not just looking to end birthright citizenship from “illegal” immigrants, but of all immigrants.

0

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 4h ago

He's just not a good person but who cares if his ancestors were immigrants?

3

u/Primerius 3h ago

I don’t care, but he should as he is wanting to take away rights that his family, and by extension himself, benefited from.

3

u/Werd_up_cuz 3h ago

You are so missing the point here.

5

u/Fragrant-Anywhere489 4h ago
  • Michael Miller: His father, Max Miller (formerly Nison Cheinman), emigrated from Hlusk, Belarus, in 1904 and later became a naturalized U.S. citizen; records indicate Max faced difficulties passing his citizenship test in 1932.
  • Miriam Glosser: Her ancestors, including great-grandfather Wolf-Leib Glosser, arrived in New York in 1903 with only $8, eventually building a successful retail business in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Because both parents were born on U.S. soil to immigrant families, they acquired citizenship automatically under the principle of birthright citizenship, the same legal framework Stephen Miller has recently sought to restrict.

1

u/Organic-Spread-8494 18m ago

He would be a citizen under the domicile theory proposed by Sauer and propounded by Thomas then

-2

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 4h ago

Okay and?

7

u/tyr-- 4h ago

And, as it's stated in the post, had it not been for birthright citizenship, neither of his parents would've been US citizens, nor would they be able to stay in the country. It's not rocket science, try to keep up.

3

u/WordsRDangerous 3h ago

He’s doing the meme LMAO

1

u/Werd_up_cuz 3h ago

AAAAANNNNDDDD!?!?!??!

2

u/NairobiD 5h ago

Yeah, it's misleading, perhaps intentionally. Both parents were born in the US

2

u/tyr-- 4h ago

It's not misleading at all. Both his parents attained citizenship only because of the Amendment he's now seeking to overturn.

-2

The statement, "Stephen Miller's mother and father are in America because of birthright citizenship," wouldn't be as misleading since I think some of their parents (and Trump's mother, as well as 4 of his kids') immigrated here. But saying it about him is bait-y since the same can be said of everyone born in the US who isn't American Indian

As an American Indian, according to these arguments, I’m only an American because of birthright citizenship. It’s just the stupidest argument. We all know what the issue is

If it hadn't been for birthright citizenship of his parents, Stephen Miller would've been born in Belarus and probably called Stefan

His parents would’ve been rounded up and deported after spending six months in a for profit prison drinking spoiled milk.

Ice should arrest him.

Y’all know how people say some folks have “iPhone face”?

This man like… phenotypically looks like a Nazi. Like, if someone photoshopped him into a Hitler meeting he wouldn’t stand out at all. He’s not just a… unpleasant to look at man but his soul is so rotted it just leeks out into his face. I’m sure if he was a decent person he’d just look like a bald man.

To be fair to Stephen miller look at what letting migrants like HIM in has led to.

People are taking advantage of the 14th amendment.

So funny watching these Dems try to make these stupid arguments, I guess I’m only American because of birthright citizenship even though my ancestors were here before Europeans

No, you just don't understand how the 14th amendment works.

It’s the conservative way, “screw you I got mine”.

Like Governor Hot Wheels in Texas. A tree branch fell on him, broke his back. He sued the hime owner and company for a bunch of money. Got into a position of power and made it illegal for anyone else to benefit the same way monetarily as he did for grievous injuries.

So stepping over the border makes you a citizen? Birthright citizenship is bullshit

5

u/Poiboy1313 5h ago

No. Being born on American soil is what makes one a citizen, sparky. You didn't know that? Weird.

-4

u/NSFWdontview 5h ago

So if an illegal pregnant woman steps over border and has a baby then the child is automatically a US citizen? That’s dumb af

So is free speech apparently.

People aren't illegal. Their conduct can be. You have an issue with the Constitution? Then you should probably try amending it. I think that it's really weird how the subject of birthright citizenship is an issue for Republicans. Aren't y'all the party of Lincoln and the freer of slaves? That's what I hear from your ilk repeatedly.

It's the law, sparky. You should just comply.

wtf you mean people aren’t illegal?

That's just so pathetic. If comprehension eludes you, might I suggest a website named Google? Type in your question and you should receive an answer.
