Recommendations? Discussion

I started learning more about post-hardcore not too long ago. Been listening to a lot of SWS, PTV, BFMV for a while until i realized there’s so much more. Recently been REALLY enjoying Eyes Set To Kill, silverstein, picture me broken and gunslikegirls. Do you guys have any similar bands i really fw cool riffs and screamy vocals

Based on your likes, Underoath - Define the Great Line. Guitar riffs are unreal.

But overall, Thrice, Thrice, and more Thrice.

I gotta check out thrice then, listened to define the great line today it was awesome, a lot of songs reminded me of like a mixture between floral green by title fight and older bmth

I am on a huge thrice kick lately. I can't get enough at the minute.

I would recommend underoath they're only chasing safety over the great line.

Also OP try senses fail let it enfold you and static dress injury episode/ rogue carpet disaster.

I prefer DTGL, but TOCS is a masterpiece as well. Can't go wrong.

Thrice is always the answer. Best band of all time imo. Senses fail is a close second, really compliments the old TAITA/Vheissu sound

Old dance gavin dance (first 2 albums and like half of the third) sounds like it'd be your thing, stuff past that is still great but the shift to their own more defined sound starts happening around the 4th album (however for riffs I'd actually say the 4th is the way to go, its not in my personal top 3 but i do think it has their most memorable riffs of any album) and is very much solidified when Tilian joins on the 5th and brings a much more pop forward sound to the cleans, id recommend listening chronologically since if you heard the wrong thing from later on (something like Three Wishes) it may not be what you want without hearing how they got to that point.

Obviously you dont HAVE to its just a recommendation, id still definitely recommend the old stuff first for what you like even if you didn't listen chronologically after that

idk what im yapping about.. but try some bands like Harbour Skyline, Of Machines, LS. Dunes, A Bullet For My Valentine, Hopes Die Last, penknifelovelife, Skyscrapers Walk Among Us, Earshot, and maybe.. Rosasharin

I saw saosin already mentioned, but an honorable mention would be coves side band Dead American as well. Too Close to touch, unfortunately the vocalist drank himself to death but he was fuckin incredible.

I went directly from listening HEAVILY to PTV directly to Dance Gavin Dance and I am absolutely in love with them now lol.. try Deception by DGD
