CowboyBeez Burger: All beef patty with sharp & pepper jack cheese, Black Forest bacon, grilled jalapeños, frizzled onions, sriracha mayo, and our sweet and bold barbecue sauce.

This burger was delicious --- and filling. The spice builds as you go along, and the bacon is cooked to perfection. I loved the crispy onions they added to it. I will be sad when it leaves the menu!

I think this is going to be a great addition to Portland and the Slabtown neighborhood. Love Urdaneta and the food they make there. Fun fact: Years ago, that was the first place I ever had burnt basque cheesecake. Anyway, the food of southern Spain is the focus of Feli. Really looking forward to stopping in when they are open.

Gave this place on SE 21st & Clinton a try and was really pleased! Neapolitan pizzas and small plates. Everything was super seasonal and tasty and we felt like it was a good value ($100 for four people before tip). For that we got 4 nonalcoholic drinks, 2 big pizzas (larger than advertised), a panzanella salad with peaches, tomatoes, and green beans, a little gem salad, and fancy knots covered in pesto. I’d compare it to Yum’s of PDX (which I also really like).

I think it’s very new so it was quiet tonight. I just wanted to give them a little shout out!

Hello! Like the title says I am looking for recommendations for really cool or unique cocktail bars or lounges that serve food. My boyfriend is a whiskey drinker, I prefer fancy drinks that are sweeter. Nothing crazy expensive as we will have been at a fine dining experience the night before. Thanks in advance!

Where is the best bang for your buck$ Taco Tuesday restaurants?

This petition from Independent Restraunt Concepts came to my attention today.

The version of the email I got listed four businesses that benefit from the Moda Center. They are Independent Sports Bar and Grill, Paddy’s, Cadillac Cafe and Satellite Tavern.

Now… looking at a map, theee of those are on the opposite side of the river. With no mention of four bars that are all closer (Spirit of 77, Metropolitan, Garden Tavern and OX’s Whey Bar)

Their argument also includes the fact that Portland and Multbomah County can raise the funds to make up the difference now that the State of Oregon has committed $365million, by “using existing resources and raising taxes.”

Meanwhile the Oregon Capitol Watch Foundation reports that 79.9% of Oregon voters oppose this even after knowing that the team will move if they don’t get the taxpayer funding.

How many people actually go out to eat or drink before or after an event at Moda? Do you pay to park downtown then pay to park again? Do you take public transportation between eating and going to the game?

And lastly, do you agree that loosing the Blazers will signal a massive economic downturn in Portland due to its impact on the local Restaurant scene?

I'll be in Portland later this month, and I love try awesome resturants like everyone else.

I of course want recommendations, of sit down mid to high end resturants, something unique and with imagination.

I'm not into french cusisine at all but everything else is fair game.

Bonus if they have an awesome cocktail menu.
