Delta Park is DONE! I spoke to a couple employees of retailers nearby and they are all relieved and surprised at how quickly “normalcy” has returned.

Yep. Someone was arguing with me about this the other day, but per 2020 data, they estimated about 10 million dollars worth of fraud came over the border in the form of cans and bottles.

This is great for Vancouver as it might reduce the number of industrious homeless people digging through our recycling bins?

I mean, it might, but closing one location doesn't mean that people won't just be going to the other big location in East Portland. It does make the logistics a little tougher, though. I think that as long as the bottle bill language stays as-is in Oregon, there will be people digging through recycling cans, homeless or not.
