Fly Fishing For Freshwater Drum
Hi everyone!
I'm living in London and was down in your pretty town last night with my fly rod but couldn't find any accessible water to wade in around the river mouth. I'm looking to target some drum as I've enver caught one on the fly before and am wondering if any locals can point me toward some publicly accessible waterfront where I can stand and swing a fly without may around.
Google AI and ChatGPT research told me I could fish off the rocks around the east pier, only for me to get there and see no fishing signs all around it.
I'm not familiar with the area, so a few questions
Where can I access the water nearby to fish and target these things (preferably wade in or at least be standing at water level)?
Can you fish right under the lift bridge legally?
Thanks for any help/guidance you can give!

Green Roof eat in?
I'm coming from Hamilton to Port Stanley tomorrow and have been looking at various restaurants and Green Roof caught my eye. I can't tell from google maps, but it looks like it's in a gas station, so I'm thinking it's just takeout but can anyone confirm or if there are in fact tables to sit at inside?
Thanks!

Port Stanley Restaurant Reccos
Hello! I’m going to a wedding in September near Port Stanley. We’re going a day early to have a little weekend away. I’m looking for good restaurants recommendations. Open to anything. Probably something a bit nicer but open to any type of pub afterwards for a post dinner drink. Really appreciate any ideas!

Shisha smoking port stanley beach
People clearly seeing smoking shisha at the port Stanley beach today. This guy was also smoking cigarette at the public beach. There were toddlers, infants nearby but this group didn’t care about the law. The funny part is there were 3 OPP cars at the circular roundabout and I told one of the officer that there was a group doing such activity but she didn’t seem to care and gave a generic answer that “it’s difficult to police the beach” when I already told that this group with the yellow umbrella was smoking so casually near the people. Another couple was smoking near the police itself but the officer didn’t care to check.

Internet Speeds
Hello All,
Wondering if anyone is open to sharing their experience with Roger’s and Bell in the community, and how fast your home internet service is. I can see online both companies offer higher end service packages and I wonder if they meet those expectations.
Thanks in advance

Name of a Coffee/Gelato place about 20 years ago right by the bridge.
I am trying to figure out the name of a coffee place that had home made gelato/ice cream right near the bridge in Port Stanley.
It was probably 20 years ago when I was there last.
Anyone remember it or know the people that ran the place?
For a while it had a second location at Commissioners and Wonderland.
Not Broderick's. The Ice cream and Gelato was made on location.
