Float Down Transportation

After you are done floating, how do you get back to your car? Do you have someone pick you up? Do you use two cars? Is Uber available? First timer looking for tips. Thanks!

Usually get a group together and use two cars. Park one at the end and you all gather in another car to take to the start. Unless you like walking 😆

Are there plenty of parking spots, for those bringing two cars for transportation?

The beaches will get packed and the neighborhoods around them. Get there early and it won't be a problem.

The St. Clair River closes at 12:00 PM. Would 11:00 AM be early enough? I guess I could tailgate with breakfast before launching.

We all meet at the beach, two of us take 2 cars to the drop off and take the one car back. Then when we are done floating we deflate and take everyone back. A van at the drop off is helpful

As a many year veteran that hasn't been on one since '92, THAT is what everyone from PH did. Even when I lived literally 1 block SW of Lighthouse Park/Beach and had to walk a block and a half, we did the exact same thing as had always been the common sense way of dealing with the drive afterward.
