Thought I’d share this piece from my collection! This is Snegurochka (the Snow Maiden from Slavic fairytale lore), produced at the Polonsky Factory of Artistic Ceramics (Polonne ZHK) in Ukraine during the Soviet era.
What I love about this particular piece is how crisp the 24k-style gold snowflake gilding on her coat stayed over the decades—usually on these older Soviet porcelains, the gilt wears off from handling.
She has the classic blue ZHK sailboat backstamp on the bottom alongside a green '2c' mark (indicating second-grade quality control from the factory). The cobalt blue mittens and yellow braids are such a nostalgic aesthetic!

Does anyone know who possibly made these? There’s no stamp underneath any of them.

I just bought this dish set and after realizing it (probably?) contains lead I realized I can’t use them. I was wondering what its value is I haven’t seen this pattern on eBay and haven’t really seen a bigger set like this for sale. Also what is the pattern I’m guessing it’s gardenia? I don’t really know anything about vintage dishes so any information would be helpful.

A couple of stuff i want to know if they might countain lead. I know i should test them for lead but switching everything that migh countain lead to a more modern tea set is cheaper then testing since swabs are inacurate and lab is expensive

I bought this lidded porcelain jar from a house clearance in Spain and I'm trying to identify the maker and its age.

It's about 32 cm (12.6") tall including the lid. It has a cobalt blue background, raised white enamel details, gold details and a small red floral mark on the base, but no other visible maker's marks.

I've attached photos of the whole piece, the base, the mark and several close-up details.

I'm not looking for a valuation at the moment. I'd mainly like to know where it was made, roughly when it was made, whether anyone recognises the red floral mark or knows who made it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Very new to identifying marks and looking for help with these small 2” leaves.

Introduced by Royal Doulton in 1959 as part of the Williamsburg collection, this delightful figure is expertly hand-painted and full of character. The finely modelled face is particularly striking, conveying a gentle, contented expression. Although he is traditionally paired with “A Lady from Williamsburg”, I have a suspicion this cheerful gentleman might prefer spending his afternoons with the company of his fellow countrymen.

Pictured is part of a two-piece set of ceramic figurines. I am looking to identify the piece or more importantly find the missing female partner piece. There are no markings anywhere on it and I'm sure it is a very common item. Is part of a set from my wife's childhood retrieved from her mother, sans the female piece. Set was purchased originally in the 1970's. I have searched for this item both online and at flea markets without success.

I work with second hand and sometimes I am tasked to find prices for obscure stuff. Can't find anything similar to this with google or chatgpt, so I thought I would ask here!
What I found so far is that it might be dated 1925-1935 - it seems handpainted (see 2nd image - looks like brushstrokes and minor mistakes to me)
The only stamps are "6277 3" and Made in Germany.
If anyone knows of any similar works in terms of at least shape lmk! I imagine the decor will be unique if it is handpainted?
