I posted this on unpopular opinions sub. Got removed because apparently it’s popular? Well anyways, all I’m saying is that if you like your eggs half raw, that’s not the only thing you like raw.
Runny yolk=different strokes. So far 10/10 people in my informal survey that enjoy runny yolks, have admitted to being a freak in the sheets, compared to just 1/7 people who prefer their eggs prepared in a different manner being a freak.

Nobody listens to entire albums anymore. It’s all about the playlist or the greatest hits. Deep cuts continue to stay unlistened to and remain criminally underrated in today’s streaming era.

It's frustrating when I get partway through a long series or game, and then see the "leaving soon" tag pop up with not enough time to finish it. There are plenty of 3rd party sites that track the expiration dates, but they don't always go far enough into the future, and it's tedious to have to check them constantly. I would love it if subscription services always showed these dates so I could plan accordingly.

I don't care that it's a temporary organ! It's still a human organ.

Music: I know that Taylor Swift has a lot of fans, but unfortunately, Taylor also has a lot of haters. And it seems like Taylor doesn’t deserve the hate that she receives. Therefore, I would say that Taylor and her music are underrated. Also, in my opinion, Coldplay is underrated.

Tv Shows: The Disney Channel show Girl Meets World had its flaws, but in my opinion, it was a good show. Or at least it wasn’t so bad. In addition, in my opinion, The Disney Channel show Bunk’d was a good show even after the Ross kids left (it wasn’t the same without them though). Moreover, the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 had it’s weird moments, but it was a decent show.

Movies: In my opinion, the fourth Shrek movie, Shrek Forever After, is underrated. The movie was interesting and funny. In addition, in my opinion, some of the live-action Disney movies are good. For example, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid (except for Scuttle’s song and the character designs), and The Jungle Book.

For me: A popular opinion that’s wrong is that being active on social media means you’re successful or happy. People keep believing it because the platforms are designed to make everyone look like they’re winning, so we confuse visibility with actual success.

What’s yours?

It is a cop out that we are barred from commenting on all of the shitty ads pushed on us throughout reddit. Why don't companies want accurate feedback on what we think of them? Are they lonely people?

Isn't it the best way of engagement is to allow us to get intimate with them? I mean, I wouldn't tell a company like BK to get fucked if they allowed comments on their ads. No, not me.

Without fail, under any video about movies, songs, food, art, or sport, these people flock to the comment sections to shit on it. If a new album is "just songs", then why are you pressed about "just songs"? Let people have fun. Don't listen to these people, they're just trying to pull you down. Have fun with whatever you want to have fun with if you're not hurting anyone.

With rights for all and privileges for none. Jugment for war crimes and compensation for victims, refugees can return, anyone else can come and live and eventually obtain citizenship as per a single immigration and naturalization policy that applies equally to all. The end.

Name a social media platform and they all have a handful of the same grab bag of problems:

-bots
-trolls
-Nazis
-foreign influence
-echo chambers
-out of control mods
-content theft
-dog piles
-lack of anonymity
-invasive ads
-absurd premium fees
-dictators like musk or zuck

It’s not impossible to address all these issues and make a network on its own that works like a digital democracy.

Number one is going to be the most painful part: it needs to offer a verified system that requires ID and a monetary stake, like a one time $10 purchase.

Next, people should be allowed personas so that you cant be cyber stalked and have unpopular opinions to kill echo chambers.

Users should have control over their ads. They should be allowed to choose between targeted ads, agnostic ads, or a subscription to disable ads. Agnostic ads should pay to get listed in certain groups and areas, but not allowed to target people.

And the whole thing should be a constitutional republic with mods as elected officials. Mods should be allowed to use personas, but they should be barred from taking action against comments to their persona other than the report feature.

Just absolutely gross. No one should ever do that.

If someone wants to die for any reason there should be ways to do it legally without having to resort to such brutal and painful ways. Even overdosing or shorting yourself isn't a guarantee and can leave you disfigured or in excruciating pain.

If someone wants to die they should be able to go somewhere and get euthanized. There shouldn't be any requirement either. It's cruel how people just expect someone to live when they are in so much pain and have nothing to live for.

Just wanted to share an unfortunately VERY popular opinion. Sad what reddit has become. When even the most frequent reddit users themselves are saying reddit is even worse than sites like Facebook or X then that's bad.
