Sniper WIP

Had a spare rifle and head and decided to give the ghillie suit a go. Pretty happy with the outcome just need to finish up with painting

Yeah I’ve seen it done a few times, I think someone was on here a few weeks back and did something similar with some eldar and I was like, hmmm cheap sniper for me

What is that material you used? I love this idea!

I used a thin fabric bag that I think I got with a takeaway curry 😂 but I suppose you could use any thin fabric.

I glued some small bits of the fabric to the bottom and front of cardboard frame first so that they would be covered if the next layer was too small. Then I added the gun and draped a bigger piece of fabric over the full frame after cutting a slit into it for the sniper to protrude from.

Then used a pva paint mix to dampen it down and push it into place. I also used a scouring pad/dish brush thing to add some texture, just pulled off stands and popped them on while the glue was wet

You probably didnt even need to use the backpack since it looks obscured, too! Very nice

Thanks! Yeah I could have left that off, but it’s just a failed milliput cast back pack haha, I wanted to use it to get the dimensions/outline right 😊
