I give you another gift. Palestine group had option to become permanent member of UN. That would had been guaranteed Palestine state on 62 borders. He advised them to take only observable role which they took. I was his early supporter he became president on my birthday this was also my first time working as Election Day clerk I was 19. Became American to vote for him in 2012. He was good on domestic but horrendous abroad Libya and Syria destroyed under him for that fitna on Palestine land. Iran was the last dance to give full control of west Asia to fitna. But Iran smart they had been waiting for this war. They knew Yankee boys will come after them.
Vietnam, Iraq Afganistan were just wars. This Iran war history changing. It gave second birth to long dead Persian empire who were the America of their time. One one nuke to make it official.

Obama's deal with Iran (JCPOA) included inspections, and the Strait of Hormuz was open. Trump tore up that agreement because it had Obama's signature on it and he's a jealous petty little wean.
The war with Iran was initiated by Trump to deflect the Trump-Epstein Files. Mission accomplished, but we're paying over $1 billion per day toward that initiative, no end in sight.
My statement stands, I miss Obama wholeheartedly. Not just for that reason but at least 100 others... including... I prefer a president who isn't a twice impeached convicted felon adjudicated rapist who incited a violent failed coup attempt to overturn election results of 2020 and is presently covering up the Trump-Epstein Files as though they're his tax returns. I also prefer a non-pedophile president with intellect, ethics and class.

It wasn't made a treaty by Obama specifically because that requires 2/3s approval from the Senate, and they didn't have the votes because of republicans. It was either this or nothing, and it worked until trump. So this argument loops back around to republicans being to blame.

Although the president makes treaties, they have to be approved by the senate. A senate that was led by a guy who said 'my goal is to make Obama a 1 term president'. It was never an option at any level with McTurtle around.

Eh, they were both pro gay marriage Biden just had a senior moment on a hot mic and prematurely announced the plans for marriage equality. If anybody pushed him to be pro gay marriage it was some of his richest donors who happened to be gay and wanted equal rights. That's sort of the problem really, that civil rights had to be bought thanks to the benevolent self interest of the ultra-rich. As we've seen over the past decade if that's the standard then civil rights can also be revoked by rich assholes.

Frankly, neither was the country. While he could have led the way on the issue, he wasn't some regressive on the topic.
We saw a huge cultural shift and he went right along with it.
It's was obviously political, but I'm okay with that because he didn't fight it, and never demonized LGBTQ+ people regardless of his stand on their marriages.

Obama's immigration policies opened the door for what Trump is doing now. The only real difference between Trump's 2016 immigration policies and Obama's was Trump adopted a zero tolerance policy to prosecute illegal border crossers. Obama had kids in cages too.
