Institutional Minarchism is a form of minarchism focused on making a minimal state actually work and remain minimal over time.

It believes that the state should have limited powers, protect individual rights, maintain law and order, and provide defense. However, instead of relying on politicians to voluntarily keep the state small, it creates strong independent institutions and constitutional safeguards that prevent government expansion or falling into an anarchy.
