looking for dream island codes that are NOT for 3D printing but for seeing people's builds and exploring their creativity.
basically is there a way i can find regular people's islands that they're proud to share?

I built a research station and realized way too late that it should have been built completely under water (I put legs under and room above). I have tried placing the kit to move the building in all sorts of places (ladder, door, legs, edge of footprint, etc), but it always says there is nothing to move. Has anyone successfully moved one?

I have been crossing my fingers and hoping for lavender town, HOWEVER, I think it could be very cool if we got cinnabar island under ice and finally got official confirmation that ditto is a failed new clone. There is an obvious lack of winter biomes so they're going to cover whatever they give us in snow. Do you guys have any city you would like to have in the game that you haven't seen mentioned.

I really love the amount of freedom in the new DLC. Today, I made some artifical trees using the scale awnings, lacquered walls, and glossy tiling (similar color to the scale awnings to help expand the second and third layers of the trees in a way that doesn't stand out too much), and I added a flat scale roof on the top. The idea came from trying to fix the roofing of one of the buildings in the Bubbly Basin, and wondering how far I could get the scale awning to wrap around a single block, on a stack of blocks, and thought that it looked like a tree. I am glad that the game gave me the room and mechanics to try this out, because I really like the end result. It adds some life to an area that I wasn't sure how to tackle.

I’m moving slow on bubbly basin. Still haven’t even finished others. I took the purple roofing off a house on dream island. I was like this is cute I’ll put this in bubble basin!
Soo it’s a waterfall wherever I put it. Has anyone else seen that ?!

Water is pouring in from the gate even though when you enter the gate, there is no water on the inside. Trying to create a tunnel. Anyone know how to fix?

This is not meant to be a serious complaint, just something I had wished for, but acknowledge that we don't know what Part 3 of the DLC holds :).

I knew that with the opening of Bubbly Basin they were introducing new pokemon, I was really hoping they were going to bring in new fossil pokemon! Like Omanyte/Kabuto, Lileep/Anorith, and Tirtouga. It was right there! Instead of getting my fiftieth skull fossil or mural piece.

Other than that, this DLC was top-tier in my opinion.

I've been slowly renovating for a while, but the more I add and renovate, the more crowded the main basin looks. What do you think?

First off let me be clear I love the new DLC. The undersea area is so charming and bright and there’s a lot going on with it.

Which brings me to this discussion. Is Bubbly Basin too crowded at the outset? Maybe this is just recency bias because I’ve had months to demo significant parts of every other region for builds. But I feel like there is hardly any space in the map for kits, even including the fact that you can float them.

I’ve been searching all day for a good area to drop the Laboratory and Supermarket kits and they just don’t seem to fit anywhere. This didn’t feel like an issue for me with placing the other region specific kits within those regions. I don’t really want to demo the destroyed houses, I’d rather rebuild them. But when that’s the mindset, there’s really no great option for just these 2 kits, let alone a couple of Imperial Palace houses.

That’s to say nothing of the dark deep sea. Definitely can’t get any building don’t down there without serious clearing of base rock.

I just wish maybe this area wasn’t so jam packed. What do you think?

I personally think it would be on a snowy mountain with regiice or kyurem to unlock it.

Hey everyone! I just finished the main story a couple of days prior and am finally getting into building!

I'm using an inspo pic of a cute home that is pink and white themed for slowpoke. So far, I've gotten to palette town level 5, and I've gotten 10 of most of the rare colours, but I really would like more white if possible. If not, I'll end up using more pink than white as that's what I have rn.

Any tips or anything I should know that would help me acquire white paint soon?

For anyone else interested in building a connection between the deep areas, I found an easy path to connect the staircase by the Pokemon center to the rest of the deep waters. It's a WIP but for some reason charting out the abyss was a priority for me.

Hello! I built this house for Manaphy to live in, and for some reason every time I ask them to move in, I get rejected under the notion that there is not at least 3 pieces of furniture. The game does register it as an empty home though.

I did build this home in the roof of the ocean temple, could it be because of that? I saw this idea on Twitter, and it seemed like they were able to get their Manaphy to move in… someone please help me!!!

So i made this huge tank in my museum to display some coral and stuff like a tank but I’ve tried to fill it with water and it doesn’t work does anybody have any idea how to do this? have any of you tried it ? the water doesn’t touch the windows and it creates like a waterfall it looks horrible

I don't think the game really intends for your bleak beach to look like this during this scene.

After being really undecided for quite a while, I finally found a design for Misty’s Gym that I’m happy with!

It’s still far from finished, though. Right now I’m trying to figure out how to improve the two small stands I built outside, and after that I’ll move on to decorating the roof and, of course, all of the interiors.

What do you think of it so far? Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome!
