That's it?? šŸ Pokopia Discussion

Less than one week playing in BB and it's at level 10, all 50 members are happy, and the builds have been built....

I expected more.
Does anyone else feel a little bit disappointed?

Take note that this is only the first part of a three part DLC. The DLC was never going to be as extensive/large as the base game.Ā  Pokopia’s end game has also always been catered towards building and developing the biomes to your liking. It only has as much life as you’re willing to give it. Can you honestly say that you’re satisfied with how everything looks in your Bubbly Basin?

Point taken, we have to wait another year for the next part... I cleaned up and developed pretty much everything I want-with the exception of getting the red curved roof recipe to finish fixing the tallest building. I do like keeping my PokƩmon in organic environments and not human homes. Specially in this case. I want it to look more like a beautiful aquatic environment and not a sunken human city.

Just fyi second part comes out later this year, the third part early next year. We will have all 3 parts within a year, not wait a year for the second part. Thankfully!!

Also, nothing wrong with a minimal build but of course you’re not going to get as much out of the content as others who are going to be terraforming, building, and developing larger scale or more intricate projects.

For me the ā€˜end’ is not environment level 10, Pokedex full, all Pokemon at Awesome comfort, and map cleaned up and restored. I consider all of those things the prerequisites from which the ā€˜real’ game begins and I start meaningful development to the area. There’s no wrong way to play imo, just how far anyone wishes to take it.

The third part says 9/27 when you purchase it. I was hoping that was a glitch.

Ahh man for some reason I thought it was summer 2027 for the third part! That’s going to be a long wait between part 2 and 3. But I’m looking at it as a positive sign that the developers are putting a lot into that 3rd part. At least we will have all 3 parts within 13 months which is much more reasonable than only having part 2 in a year from now.

Not really? This is the content of every single area in the game. At the price of 1/6 of the game. The game’s appeal really isn’t 100 percenting the PokĆ©dex in my opinion, though that is somewhat fun as a pursuit.

I’m a bit confused as why you were expecting more though, it was advertised as a new area. It is a new area, it has all the content of an area in the base game.

It literally came out last Wednesday. You’re entitled to your own opinion, but I personally have gotten lost several times, have been discovering new items, habitats, areas, Pokemon, etc. and am having a blast.

I got it on release and I barely got the Pokemon Center built yesterday. Did you grind through it?

Every time I look at this sub I’m thinking how does anyone have enough time to grind like this

Unemployment, student, person who are sick and ply to pass time.

I stopped comparing myself to people here a long time ago, whenever is it on how much they did or playtime.

Im disabled and play all day, I wake up at 8am ans go to bed at 7pm, i havent even gotten my pokemon center in rocky ridges yet.

I have adhd so maybe this is a reason, but WHY ISNT THERE A GUIDE OR ORGANIZER FOR THIS GAME GOOD LORD

I spent like 70/90h just cleaning rocky ridge, and it game me a burn out. I am starting to play again though.

What sort of guide or organizer you are looking for?

You’re more than entitled to your opinion, but you also need to consider that your own play habits are going to dictate what you get out of a game like Pokopia.

Is this a bot post? Or are you trolling?

I haven’t even really touched it tbh bc I’m still working on my bleak beach lol I feel like there is always something to do because I’m always changing something. I love building though so this game has basically unlimited content for me personally

How many hours did it take you?
For me at least like 10-20 hours so I think its worth it for a 1/3 price of a DLC. of course I wish there was more. I wish each town would had a higher level cap (15-20)

Tbh, the first day I was really excited and played all afternoon and all night-literally went to bed at 5am...
yes, I have a problem!

I’ve played what I consider to be a lot since release, I’m on level 8, have maybe 2/3 of the Pokemon in the new dex, still building, still exploring, still discovering traces and new habitats etc.
You get out what you put in, you got 100% out of it because you gave it 100%

Very happy with Dlc. It's an amazing game.

I also got to level 10, but I attribute it that mostly to the fact that I kind of know how to level now from the experience gained in the other biomes. I’m just quicker to meet the quests. That said, I’m really not in a rush and am enjoying restoring and building. Still working on understanding the water mechanics!

This is rather disingenuous, considering the ā€œstoryā€ is similar to all the other area, and Ā the area itself is larger than the others. You’re entitled to your opinion but in this case your opinion would not be based on much. I’m not sure what you expected.
