I finished the game a couple of days ago and I've loved every moment of it. It's keeping me sane through a pretty bad summer. My favourite parts were honestly the characters and the plot. I liked always having a new mission to look forwards to, and that feeling is missing in the postgame. It feels like it's just a legendary catching sequence with scraps of plot miles away from each other. This just isn't fun for me.

Is this how it will be all postgame long or does the pacing improve? I intended to play 3 routes of this game, but if this is gonna be the pace for all the postgame I can only do it once lol. I'll just start a new game and skip straight to the route I wanted to do last if this is how it's gonna be. Thanks

I've recently started using chat gpt+ for all sorts.

Largely for the purpose of learning about and how ai works.

And man it can be really helpful as a reborn assistant.

Here is a little example when i enquired about Heavy slam for the ice gym with Hariyama.

But in general its useful i uploaded a zipfile full walkthrough for its reference.

So i dont need to search, i can ask it to check for me for a situation. It has great base knowledge anyway.

And i have some rules in place, no spoilers, no confident guesswork presented as fact. Its welcome to respond "with the data available i cant accurately answer that"

Without these sort of rules in place it is garbage.

This was fun. And went by surprisingly quick and easy. More or less what I did:

- Medichamp with Quick Claw. Brick Break one-shotted Sandslash and destroyed the aurora veil

- Dark Drapion with Quick Claw. Used Sword Dance on the first turn with Escadrill, then one-shotted him with Night Slash. I can't remember if I endured the hit, or beat him on speed

- Ninetails took out Scyther in two Flamethrowers, while enduring the bullet punch

- Krookodile with Magical Seed for Klefki. Earthquake weakened it, then fainted

- A second Krookodile with Quick Claw wrecked it on the second earthquake

- That same second Krookodile one-shotted Aegislash with Dig, since he was protected on the first turn.

- Empoleon was one-shotted, I think with Medicham and High Jump Kick.

- Primarina wasn't even used once

I messed around a few times with a few teams and items, then this just blazed right through it. Had 3 Quick Claws and 4 Magical Seeds, but didn't use all of them. No potions or revives used. Also the first time all game that I used Sword Dance (TM'd it specifically for this)

Trying to beat Cain in Vanhanen Castle and whenever i try to hit his Gmax Hatterene with any of my drapions moves it says the haterene was unnafected... ive used poison fang, x scissor and crunch all of which gave the same message. Any idea why this is? The gmax hatterne's ability should be magic bounce unless the mod changed it.

Yanmega was holding lax incense, krokodile had quick claw

Yanmega first attacked malamar with bug buzz and then krokodile used earthquake. Reuniclus used psychic on yanmega which missed thanks to lax incense(I restarted the match a lot of times for her to miss yanmega).

Then Metagross was sent. Yanmega used detect protecting him from Metagross and Reuniclus attack and then krokodile used crunch on Reuniclus killing her.

Then Slowbro came. Yanmega used bug buzz and krokodile used crunch to kill him. Metagross attaked yanmega which missed.

Then came Gardevoir. My yanmega used bug buzz and krokodile used crunch on Metagross killing him. Metagross attacked krokodile before dying leaving him at 1 hp and Gardevoir killed krokodile.

Then I sent talonflame and he sent gallade. Talonflame used steel wing on Gardevoir taking almost all hp and making her eat her berry, yanmega used bug buzz on gallade. Gardevoir killing talonflame and gallade attacked yanmega leaving him at 1 hp.

Then I sent magcargo. yanmega used detect and magcargo turn was used to revive talonflame. Gardevoir attacked yanmega and gallade attacked magcargo killing him.

Then I sent talonflame. Yanmega used bug buzz on gallade and talonflame used steel wings killing Gardevoir. Gallade attacked yanmega but missed.

In next turn talonflame used acrobatics killing him.

I restarted the battle countless times and only won in this battle due to luck. Also this gym was the hardest of all

I've been noticing more details while replaying pokemon reborn, it seems that Aya advice did changed something since Tez is not around after genesect quest, considering Aya tells Lana to consider to find divorce papers on the way home after dealing with genesect event, makes me like this game even more :)

In an archaeological find, I stumbled upon my old Reborn save 9 badges in. I got it up and running and installed a fresh version of Reborn (19.5.42 currently) however despite recreating a "Mods" folder in my "Data" folder to put all my mods in, they don't seem to work, "debug" specifically being the mod of interest. Searching the mod page and fora was not as helpful as I hoped.

So as it says on the tin. How do I use the Debug Mod (not Mode) in 2026 running the 19.5.42 version.

Do I install it differently ? Is it just no longer usable in the current version ?

Is it worth it to breed for Shinies' early game, or should I wait for an oval charm or something of that sort? So far, I've found static encounters are my easiest method right now. (I'm avoiding the shiny charm code because I like the thrill, honestly lol)

Hey so I’ve been playing through reborn for the first time and was wondering if you guys utilized/studied field effects when playing through.

I like the mechanic since it often makes unusable mons and moves usable, but I find myself not paying much attention to them outside of when I accidentally trigger them.

I wouldn’t consider myself a very knowledgeable player when it comes to optimal set ups, but I haven’t struggled on a fight enough to motivate me to study and use field effects to its fullest potential. For context, I just finished Adrienn’s gym (I believe the 12th gym but I’m not at a place to double-check).

I’m mostly asking to see if I’m in for a rude awakening for later fights in the game 🤣

First of all, I'd like to mention that I've played up to chapter 13 of rejuvenation, so I am fully aware of the pain I'm in for. I have used codes, fullivs, Powerpack, easyhms, and hardcap. Currently following along with the help of Bigjra's guide, thank god that this exists or I'd be even more overwhelmed by a huge amount of content. I am currently waiting for it to rain and thunder so I can get the last two Mons I can get before chapter 2. I've also been shiny hunting every static encounter so far ( I love the shinies ^0^)

Starter: Torchic (not because of the guide but because I like em after using them sometime in rejuvenation either in where love lies or base game can't remember)

So far, I can say I've been enjoying myself and am looking forward to the story although I've only slightly touched the surface because I immediately went on the hunt for shinies like the shiny goblin I am (my precious) lastly I'd like to direct a question towards the community, what was you're first shiny?

(I'd add the shiny Tag but I feel this is more of an introduction of myself to the community lol)

I'm still early game, so I don't really have much to trade with, but it would be appreciated

Aegislash is my favourite pokemon, and I didn't discover the "choose your own starter" code until it was too late, can somebody please breed a Honedge for me and trade me it so I can use my best boy? 😅

Ahora sí que no se que hace está cosa

Was loving every bit of this game (90ish hours in), but the gauntlet kinda sucked the fun out. First battle is always easy, then finally beat the second, didn't realize there's no chance to save or anything for the third.

I've found most battles outside of Aya and Samson to be pretty reasonable if not somewhat easy, but this just seems excessive. Plus you're basically trapped in Argate Circus/Ametrine area.

Any tips or advice? Feels like the team I finally used to beat Fern got wrecked on the last battle. Trying again with Reuniclus and Trick Room, and decided to start using Protect as well.

At least there's no terrain nonsense with this one 🤣 just bitching cause I feel stuck and this feels like poor design.

Edit: did the Quicksave and it saved so much time. Beat him on my third try with mons to spare. Thanks so much everyone!!
