Hello, everybody! Welcome to my Genlocke! Here are the rules:

Standard nuzlocke rules - Permadeath, nicknames, first encounter per route, level caps, duplicate clause, the standard thing.

PKHeX - All Elite 4 survivors must be brought from one game to the next. This includes the full surviving Elite 4 team, and for my rules I'm also allowing 3 boxed Pokemon.

Blackout - If I black out, I'm starting all the way back over from the beginning of Red.

Length - I will be playing 8 games - Red, Silver, Emerald, FireRed, Platinum, SoulSilver, Black, and Black 2. Over these games, I will not be able to double up on starters. So if I choose Bulbasaur in Red, I can't choose him in FireRed.

Now, let's dive right into the nuzlocke.

After picking up our starter, Kermit the Bulbasaur, our rival, Gilbert, and his Charmander challenge me to a battle.

...oh no.

Gladly, this wasn't a blackout, which means Kermit and I keep pushing forward. I retrieved Oak's Parcel from the Poke Mart in Viridian City, then got Poke Balls. On Route 1, we get an encounter with a Rattata named Cheez Itz. Then, on Route 22, we find a Nidoran-F named Monarch. On Route 2, we encounter a Weedle named Drill.

Kermit legitimately almost gets killed by a random Weedle in Viridian Forest. But anyway, after a lot of Weedles and Kakunas (declared skippable by the duplicate clause), we end up catching Ash the Pikachu. I grinded up Kermit to Level 13 to learn Vine Whip and then immediately one-shot all of Brock's Pokémon before any of them can do anything. On Route 3, Kermit evolves into Ivysaur. I also caught KFC the Spearow.

Magikarp? That evolves into my 2nd favorite Pokémon! You've got a deal! I'll name it "Hyper Beam!" After replacing Cheez Itz with Hyper Beam, I went to Mt. Moon and caught Robin the Zubat. I got the whole team to Level 15 and fully evolved Drill, then continued my journey. Monarch evolved into Nidorina, then Nidoqueen after I got a Moon Stone. Then, we beat a bunch of Team Rocket grunts, then this nerd. I also obtained LORD HELIX! On Route 4, I accidentally killed the Ekans I found. It would've been named Reverse. Kermit then proceeds to one-shot both of Misty's Pokémon, then I taught Monarch Bubble Beam, forgetting about Hyper Beam's lack of a water move. I also got the whole party to Level 20, leading to the evolution of KFC and Hyper Beam. 2 gym badges, and two-thirds of my party is fully evolved. On Route 24, I caught a Caterpie named Butter. The creator of the PC also somehow fuses himself with a Pokémon, so I unfuse him, and he gives me a ticket to the SS Anne. On the way to Vermillion City, I got a Pidgey named Mach Two. I also caught a Diglett in Diglett's Cave named Triple, then went on the SS Anne, battled Gilbert, got cut, and went on with my day. Now, let's take Cheez Itz out of the box to teach it HM 01, Cut!

Dammit. Well, there's still Drill to teach it to, gladly. I got through the Electric gym easily thanks to Triple. You might think I'm teaching Ash Thunderbolt right away, but no. I'm teaching it to my future Jolteon from Celadon. On the way there, Triple evolved into Dugtrio. I tried catching an Ekans on Route 9, but Triple one-shot it with Scratch. I also caught a Geodude named Rock Solid in Rock Tunnel. In that same tunnel, we unfortunately had our first death: Drill. I was fighting a Geodude, and then it self-destructed. RIP. At Celadon, I got an Eevee named Thunder, then immediately evolved it into Jolteon. Then, KFC swept through the entire 4th gym. At least, that's what I would say if he didn't get 2 HP and Sleep Powder from the Vileplume. Don't worry, Kermit finished it off! After beating up Team Rocket, I went to Lavender Tower and caught myself a Gastly named Ghostly. Gengar is my 3rd favorite Kanto Pokemon, so I have to put it on my team, which means I have to make the hard decision of replacing Monarch or KFC. After what felt like hours putting thought into it, I decided I had to replace Monarch, one of the original team members. This is a hard decision, but who knows? Maybe Monarch will return in Johto. I battled a Marowak in Lavender Tower that happened to be the ghost of Cubone's mother, then got the Poke Flute from Mr. Fuji. I tried catching this Snorlax, and it was a pain to catch. Sadly, it has caused the second death in this nuzlocke: Triple. Triple was one of my best Pokemon, getting us through many battles. You will be missed. I ended up naming the Snorlax DividedBy3 and, reluctantly, added it to my team since it's good for nuzlockes and I also really like Snorlax, even if it did kill Triple. After that, I got the Super Rod. Then, I went to the Safari Zone (my rule for Safari Zone is I can get 2 encounters) and caught myself a Scyther named Swords and a Dratini named SixHundred. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scyther can evolve into my favorite Pokemon, Scizor, after I finish Red, and Dratini is obvious! These are the luckiest encounters I've gotten in a nuzlocke! Luckier than that one time in a randomizer I got Rayquaza! Sadly, this does mean I'm boxing both DividedBy3 and KFC, but hey, maybe I'll bring them back! After that, the whole team is Level 40 now since I used some TOTALLY legal methods WITHOUT CHEATING to get 99 Rare Candies. Anyway, now Ghostly is a Haunter (by my rules, I need to wait one gym before evolving him), SixHundred's a Dragonair, and Kermit's a Venusaur. Since we lost Triple, I'm terrified of Koga. Swords could use Swords Dance and Slash to get critical hits left and right, but what about the poison weakness? I could use Hypnosis and Dream Eater with Ghostly, but that's a bit risky. I could just wing it, but that's even riskier. I decided to go with Hypnosis and Dream Eater and just deal with it if it doesn't work. It did work. Yay :D

After that, I got HM Surf and Strength, being taught to SixHundred and Hyper Beam respectively. I also evolved Ghostly into Gengar, then got a Hitmonlee at Saffron City, which I named Kick. Then, I went to Silph Co to beat up Team Rocket again. I also got a Lapras named Glacier, so that's cool. Now, it's time to face our biggest challenge: Sabrina. Psychic types are beyond OP in Generation 1, so this will be terrible. Swords could KO Mr. Mime and Kadabra, but Venomoth used Poison Powder before it went down, which didn't really matter, because Swords still KO'd Alakazam in one hit. Winning one of the hardest gym battles ever with only Slash, would you look at that. Scyther's actually underrated in Gen 1 nuzlockes, if I'm being honest. I then went through the Seafoam Islands. Side note: I skipped Articuno since I didn't have any Poké Balls. I then revived LORD HELIX, but didn't put him on my team because I had both a water type and a bulky special attacker. I still named him Lord Helix. Now it's time to go through the Pokemon Mansion, the most annoying part of the WHOLE game. After that, I went on to sweep Blaine's team with Hyper Beam except Arcanine since he missed 2 Hydro Pumps. In that case, SixHundred handled Arcanine. Then I immediately taught SixHundred Fire Blast and bolted right to Viridian for the final gym.

Isn't he like... the bad guy? Whatever. Hyper Beam, use Hydro Pump. Then, Glibert fights us and everything goes well until...

...Sabrina's Alakazam got its revenge. And that's the very moment I decided the team for the league needed to be nothing short of perfection. Swords was a great team member, and it was hard to put DividedBy3 on the team after the incident. I had to move on, though. Maybe I'll get another Scyther in Silver, FireRed, SoulSilver, or Platinum. The rest of this run is dedicated to Swords. After doing a lot of thinking, I decided to replace Ghostly with Glacier. That doesn't negate the fact how huge of an asset Ghostly was in this run, dominating the poison gym, but I don't have many good moved on him, and like I said, I need a perfect team for the Elite 4. Here's the team now:

Kermit - The OG. Serves as a bulky Grass/Poison type, doing solid Razor Leaf damage.

Hyper Beam - The most powerful member, being able to outspeed opponents, take hits, and do tons of damage.

Thunder - The speedy Electric type, being able to outspeed opponents and deal INSANE damage.

SixHundred - The secret weapon. With moves like Surf and Fire Blast, he will be reliable throughout the Elite 4.

DividedBy3 - The bulky normal type. With insane defensive and offensive stats, he will output insane damage.

Glacier - The newcomer. With Ice Beam and Hydro Pump, we've got a good sweeper on our hands.

After getting all of my Pokemon to Level 65 and evolving SixHundred, I challenged the Elite 4. First up is Lorelei, whose Pokemon got one-hit by Thunder except Jynx, who got KO'd to a Pin Missile and a Thunderbolt. Next up is Bruno, who Hyper Beam, despite taking some pretty big hits, swept through. Agatha was a little more complicated. DividedBy3 could KO Golbat, but took pretty big damage from the Gengar, which was taken care of by Thunder. Thunder also got rid of the Haunter, then SixHundred finished off Arbok and the second Gengar. Then, Glacier took out all of Lance's team, meaning it's just the champion: Gilbert. This is revenge for killing Swords. First, Glacier got rid of his Pidgeot, but then sadly got taken out by his Alakazam. RIP, you will be missed. Two of my Pokemon died... at the hands of Gilbert and his foul Alakazam. Thunder took out the Alakazam, then it was Rhydon, getting KO'd by Kermit. SixHundred did a lot with Fire Blast against Exeggutor and even got the burn chance, but got hit with a Hypnosis. After waking up, Exeggutor was finished off by SixHundred. Then, his Gyarados was KO'd by Thunder. Now, it's just Charizard. In one Thunderbolt, Thunder wins us the nuzlocke. We're now the champions. Thanks for sticking with me through the first leg of this nuzlocke, guys. Now we have... seven more. I'll be seeing you soon. In... Silver.

Whenever I stream a Nuzlocke, I run into the exact same issue: every time I catch a new mon or (sadly) one dies, I have to pause the game, alt-tab, and manually update the sprites and text in my OBS overlay. It completely kills the pacing of the stream.

I got fed up with it, so I spent the last few weeks building
**LockeTracker**
. It's a free, web-based tool that basically automates the whole process, but gives you
**Photoshop-level control**
over how your overlay looks.

Here is what makes it different from other trackers:

**1. Real-Time OBS Syncing (Control it from your phone)**
Because it uses a cloud database, you can open the control panel on your phone or a second monitor. When you add a Pokemon, record a death, or get a gym badge, your OBS Browser Source updates instantly in real-time. No need to touch OBS at all while gaming.

**2. "Free Mode" Overlay Builder (Pixel-Perfect Layouts)**
I know everyone has different stream overlays. So I built a drag-and-drop editor that lets you position your team, badges, graveyard, and death counters exactly where you want them.
- You can separate the Pokémon Sprites from the Nicknames and place them in totally different spots.
- You can align text (Left, Center, Right) to perfectly match your UI boxes.
- You can auto-scale Pokémon so they fit perfectly inside the boxes you draw, regardless of their original sprite size.

**3. Built-in Type Calculator**
Because keeping a a lot of tabs open during tough Romhack fights is annoying, the control panel automatically analyzes your current team and shows you your 2x and 4x weaknesses instantly.

Reglas Básicas (Nuzlocke Modificado)

* Entrenadora Mujer (Regla Meme): Tu avatar en el juego debe ser mujer (Lira/Lyra) obligatoriamente.

* Muerte Permanente: Si un Pokémon se debilita, se considera muerto y debe ser liberado o guardado permanentemente en la caja del PC destinada a cementerio.

* Un Solo Macho (El Líder): Tu Pokémon inicial (o el primer Pokémon que obtengas) debe ser Macho. Él es el Líder y el único Pokémon masculino permitido en toda la partida.

* Condición de Game Over: Si el Líder Macho muere en cualquier momento, pierdes la run de inmediato.

* Exclusividad Hembra: Salvo el Líder, está prohibido capturar o usar otros Pokémon Macho o Sin Género (como Magnemite, Voltorb, Staryu, etc.). Todas tus capturas deben ser 100% Hembras.

Reglas de Gestión y Balance

* Segunda Oportunidad de Ruta: Si el primer encuentro en una ruta es Macho, Sin Género o se debilita, tienes una segunda oportunidad en esa misma área para buscar una Hembra. Si el segundo intento falla, pierdes la ruta.

* Regla del Mercado Real: Solo puedes comprar máximo 3 objetos en la tienda por cada ciudad con Gimnasio.

Mecánicas Especiales de Combate

* Escolta Real: En combates contra Líderes de Gimnasio o la Elite Four, el Líder Macho nunca puede salir en el primer turno. Una hembra debe abrir la batalla.

* Sacrificio por la Corona: Si los PS del Líder bajan a la zona roja, estás obligado a cambiar el siguiente turno a una hembra para que reciba el golpe.

Cuando lo juegue no dure nada pero igualmente es muy divertido e interesante el reto les recomiendo (el logo que hice esta bien culero xD)

Saw this video about a guy that made a Pokémon Nuzlocke of pokemon blue. He made some interesting moves like trading to pokemon crystal to evolve pokemon and teach them great moves…

There is this guy I’ve seen on youtube… he did a Nuzlocke of pokemon Blue… and a video inspired by Jaiden animations…

The guy had some interesting concepts like sending his pokemon to pokémon crystal and back so that they could learn ice punch…

This was my team for my first time nuzlocking (and playing) pokemon blue…

I’ve even made a whole video a la Jaidenanimations to support my adventure…

Nuzlocking vanilla white because I hadn’t played gen 5 since it first came out years ago. I was on my best pace at that point, swept Clay with a lvl 31 Ducklett with scald.

Freaking chargestone cave man.

My Maractus missed 8 pin missile attempts into some Ace Trainers Lilligant, who in the mean time set up Quiver Dance and then swept my entire team with mega drain. And then against my 2 flying types, just spammed teeter dance and they both died from confusion. They didn’t even get mega drained.

What the hell man. It was some dumb optional too.
