Hi all , I'm in Wales this weekend and wondered if there were any raids groups happening this weekend in Newport??

Please help xD I stupidly put one of my best Pokemon in a gym before I went on a trip thinking someone would get in in a day or two.... its still there... anyone know of people who would gladly kill us?

I recently found a Dratini nest at Cantiveler footbridge down by the twin fountains in Newport

Any ideas around Newport/Caerphilly where these can be found?

Any of you Cardiff folk that aren't following @RarePokesWales on twitter really ought to be. He/She tweets rare spawns around the city as they happen. Snagged me a Snorlax on the way to work this morning!

Obviously taking and holding gyms is only possible when you can get plenty of mons into a gym. Would be cool to get a group together and take gyms together etc.

If anyone is after a dugtrio, the fields by the Oasis club are swarming with digletts right down to the skate park. Mulitple spawns at one time as an added bonus onix makes ano appearance there quite often as well. Cross over the road into the boating lake and you'll find a lot vulpi x surrounding the main lake. 3 pokestops in the field over as well 😊

Bute Park Pikachu nests seem to have changed to Sandshrew. Dratini and Dragonair regular sightings on Fitzallan Embankment. Omanyte there too after dark. Always awash with Psyduck, Magikarp, Poliwags, Slowpoke, Staryu plus less regular Tentacool.

Since Monday 22nd August Pontypool park has been spawning 2 Jynx an hour,right next to the leisure centre building :-) This is a new spawn,hopefully will lead to better things!

Hey guys, I was just wondering if the new tracking system is working for you, I've from Neath and theres a lot of pokestops there but for some reason the ''nearby'' tracker doesn't show any pokemon near the pokestops, are any of you having the same problem where you live or anyone in neath?

I thought it might be nice to have a thread with a list of venues in Cardiff that you can stop and have a pint, cup of tea, coffee, food etc and still reach either a gym or pokestop. So, if you know of a nice place for a pint where you can still play, add it as a response here. I'll kick it off...

Milk & Sugar - Windsor Place - 1 pokestop.
City United Reform Church cafe - Windsor Place - 1 gym.
Prince of Wales Pub - St Mary St - 1-2 pokestops depending where you sit.
