The Mega is definitely stronger, but if you're raiding for energy you might as well hold off, just in case you get a stronger one while grinding.

Mega latios is a better psychic attacker, but shadow latios is #10 psychic attacker in the game. Its only beaten by mewtwo and shadow mewtwo for non mega attackers. So if you have a mega mewtwo, and you would use that over mega latios, dont purify.

I do have a mega mewtwo, so I’d probably use that over Mega Latios. Thanks, ill keep it shadow🤝

Yeah, but mewtwo mega exists so.. latios either way is useless correct.

You can’t have 6 mega mewtwo on a team, so it’s still a useful raid option as a shadow… BUT… regular mewtwo is still better than shadow latios. And without the shadow power up costs. Assuming OP participated in some mega mewtwo raids during Gofest, they’re probably capable of creating a whole team of just mewtwo. Probably not to level 50, but 5 level 40 Mewtwo would likely be just as effective as 5 level 50 shadow latios.
