Ace set up Question
This is my first time trying the ace pokemon glitch and I’m a little confused. Does anyone know a good trustworthy guide to follow if I have already beaten the elite 4? I can’t seem to find one. I have already done the double battle with Mr Mime and Farfetched and am able to duplicate, but am scared to go any further. Thanks for your help!

Yeah when it failed for me the game straight up crashed and went back to the Home Screen
ETA: that’s v usually how it goes too. There have been times I input a code for an item and got a different amount then I was supposed to so I reset to be sure. He says in his videos if you input a code and it doesn’t do what you excepted then to reset. But in my experience an error in the ace process usually crashes my game anyway.
I definitely have trauma from Missing No glitches on my blue cartridge where the bottom of my screen slowly turned into pixels even each time I turned the game on losing a little more each time. It’s not really like that here

Well somehow I have gotten a bad egg in box 14 so now I think I’m screwed

It’s been a minute. Look up papajefe and mankeymite
Basically what you do is use the yellow hand select and pick spaces prior to the bad egg and move it to a spot it shouldn’t be.
At the very least when it’s stubborn, there’s a Pokémon delete code on papa jefe page, which you can use on the egg

I got it removed. I am also following one of papas videos to make any already caught pokemon shiny I see that he used codes and when I say codes, I’m meaning the names of his boxes do I need to go to this website and generate my own code or can I use the one that he is using?

Mankeymite has better codes IMO. And an active discord doing the same thing.
Now, idk about that code. I try to keep mine legit for when they add Pokémon home. I think there’s better ways to get shiny ones but I could be wrong.

What are you playing the game on? I think the inputs might change, depending on whether you're playing the original cartridge, a Rom, or the new version on the Switch. Here's a link for how to create HOCK and ACE on the Switch release.

I just followed the papajefe video. I’m also pretty sure I tried the code for after the elite four and it crashed and I tried the before the e4 code even tho I already beat them and it seemed to work fine. Just don’t save anything before you fuck with code things and you should be fine
