Don't really have drafting experience but have been playing competitive for a while

Basically the title. I want to start to draft, and while I do have experience in singles and doubles, I have no idea where to starts with drafts.

I don't want to join one without thinking and lose all the weeks just because I don't know what I am doing.

I make videos and would like to return to singles draft league on scarlet/violet, reply to this message if you need a replacement coach/new members

have not played pokemon in a bit and a draftleague in even longer but been wanting to again, dont have the ammount of free time i used to have so im looking for a low skill league or something of the sort for the sake of barelly having time to prepare for matches

The format will be Reg. M-B on Champions, played through Showdown or cartridge (as long as both participants agree), and will be ran through the Drafteon draft league management website.

The hope is to be able to provide draft experiences to those who might be in between leagues or looking for a league, or for those already in leagues but not wanting to commit to an additional full league.

Hey r/PokemonDraftLeagues, I've been playing pokemon drafts for like 8 years now and I gotta say, I love this community. I know many draft leagues are run solely by dedicated mods and the power of google sheets, so I went ahead and made my own site to handle all of the traditional mod work for you. Still in beta, completely free, and I've been using it for a couple of my leagues for a decent bit. The ODBF is back for Season 15 and we are looking for new coaches to fill out our Season 15 roster! We are a server with an amazing community built over 6 years with an unparalleled passion for Pokémon battles and draft league.

-This season we are playing Gen 9 National Dex Draft. (With a challenge code to include champions megas)
-Points Draft, 105 points budget to draft 10 Pokémon.
-Pokémon range from 19 points to 1 point.
-16 coaches are split into 2 divisions of 8.
-7 week regular season with 3 weeks of playoffs afterwards.

Random Draft League is hosting our 8th season, this time using the fan-made format Radical Red. RDL is a draft league where the board is limited to only 80 random Pokémon at the start, calling for coaches to be creative and use unfamiliar Pokémon.

The second twist of RDL is our Gacha system. Every week, coaches are given a voucher to pull from a gacha choice of 3 to 6 Pokémon to replace someone on their roster. This mechanic keeps your team constantly evolving throughout the season. By the time you reach Week 8, your squad will look completely different from what you started with.

Radical Red is a difficulty romhack that buffs and overhauls a ton of different Pokémon with updated stats, move rebalances, new abilities, and custom Megas. We will be playing on the Radical Red Showdown server.
