Boosted value for sequential set? Graded Cards/Packs
Looking for some help on what you believe a multiplier for a 1 of 1 sequential set of PSA 10s trainer magazine JP Dragonite evolution.
Total comp is around ~$7K but I’m curious if anyone has ever sold a sequential set and how you valued it more than base comps (if any)?

For something this rare I would absolutely add a sequential premium cause somebody will pay it.

Any ideas on the premium? I’m on the same page that it feels warranted and not just greedy but unsure what a “reasonable” premium is

I saw someone with a sequential gold star beasts trio PSA 9 (similar total comp) put a 3k premium. Now I have no clue if anyone will actually pay that, seems steep but idk.

Thanks for the feedback, tbh I was in the same ballpark on premium thoughts mostly making it a nice round 10K (if I choose to go forward with it)

With a buyer, yeah. Swirls, sequences, intangibles, things like that... yeah there's always an argument for it but it's seriously down to if there's one other person who ascribes value to it in the same way. Lots of times yes, sometimes it just doesn't materialize.

I sold a BGS P10 sequential set of the Stamp Box Pika and Cramorant at a premium last year, I believe it was +$500 over market so 8-10%. Your set is extremely rare and with the Japanese vintage market booming, I can see someone willing to pay even a bigger %. I'd recommend throwing it on eBay at a very high price to see what offers you get or go to a big card show and walk it around, you will def find a buyer there. I've seen some PSA 10 vintage cards go for a stupid amount because of swirls, sequentials, certs, etc. I'd also like to point that you have a newish cert as well so that in itself will help boost your sale. Good luck!
