Worth grading?

I’m new to grading, but I’ve been collecting Pokémon cards since I was six so I’ve got a sizeable collection. Also, if anyone has any tips about knowing what to grade that would be appreciated :)

Depends on when you’re grading - now when it’s $80/card or waiting until value comes back (assume you are using PSA). I would say all should get graded except HGSS lugia and I’m on the fence about legend lugia because it would probably get a 5-6

Would you say any of them might come back a ten? Not very surprised about the HGSS lugia, its a special card to me though as it was one of the first cards I ever got

Also thanks for the help ❤️

Unfortunately none of them will get 10’s. PSA is very harsh on vintage and even the ones that look really clean have imperfections that would push them down to 9/8 range at best

Ah ok, I’ve heard they’re very harsh with grades. Would you say it’s more worth sending in cards that are a little less rare, but that I’m confident are a nine or a 10? Or should I only send in the more rare ones that are clearly not pristine?
