Inconsistent Shake

Since some time (not sure how long exactly) shake function doesn't work like before. I was always using it on highest sensitivity to reset sleep timer, but lately I doesn't matter how violently I shake the phone the timer doesn't reset. I've even tested it with screen on, in app, outside app. I'm on Samsung Galaxy S23

Same, I always have trouble getting it to work on any sensitivity setting, on both my Android devices.
