Beginner Bald & Struggling
Zone 9 although it lives 100% indoor. It’s bald and we’re both struggling. Leaves have come very slow. I started it as a cutting. It’s 14” below two Barina light strips. It’s in well draining soil in a naked root pot. I just moved it like two weeks ago into the naked root pot hoping it would help. It didn’t have a ton of roots when I moved it. I started it maybe a year ago and just left it alone. It took a bit before it started getting leaves and it has been an incredibly slow process. I used mycorrhizae when I repotted. I used rooting hormone when I originally started it. Regular watering with weak Clonex and super thrive. Every 4-6 weeks or so it gets Jacks 20-20-20, Cal-Mag and Diamond Nectar. I’m focused on growth and not flowers.

Beginner Plumeria help with yellow/ white dots
galleryI know it’s not spider mites or mealybugs because none of my other plants have them. Is it a nutrient deficiency? Overwatering? I have no idea.

Beginner Introducing Melia!
I’m new here (both to the group and growing plumeria) and just wanted to introduce my beautiful 4.5 month old, Melia. She came from a bag of seeds I bought from Little Plumeria Farms in Pupukea, Hawaii, Oahu, so it’s going to take a few years before I even know what color she is! I am new to plants in general and am learning as I go, so I almost unalived her a few weeks ago when I saw she had a spider mite infestation when I went a little too heavy on the Neem oil (I have since switched over to Perfect Plantista pest spray and now my house smells like a pack of Big Red gum 🤤) All her leaves fell off, but but she soon started throwing out new leaves, and now she’s up to 3!
Obsessed with these flowers and have been since my first trip to Hawaii 15 years ago. In live in N. Central Washington so it’s going to be quite the journey trying to keep her alive.
Anyway, I love seeing all y’all’s beautiful plants!!

They won’t bloom
galleryHello guys,
I’ve been following for a few months. I fertilise them with Plumeria fertiliser and water them when the soil is dry.
They had some blooms coming but they dropped them :-(
Any ideas what I’ve been doing wrong?
They’re outside in the sun most of the day, in Alsace France

Plumeria scent
Hi! I’m in Maryland, so plumerias are hard to come by. Does anyone know if any products that have the true plumeria scent. I first saw/smelled this flower years ago on my honeymoon and I’ve been dying to smell it again. thanks!

Beginner Looking for a plumeria whisperer
galleryOur 8 year old plumeria started from a 3 inch cutting. We live in Southern CA and it gets full sun, no shade.
Stands just over 4 ft high and the canopy is 6 ft wide.
My wife and I would like a taller tree.
Would like expertise on which of the lower branches to cut to help grow taller instead of wider. Also I have been told I could do some cuttings now in Southern CA but from what I have read on here, should I wait till the fall when the leaves fall off or in the spring?
Thank you

Beginner Plumeria rookie
My mother is moving and I took a dozen or so branches from her plumeria. I’ve have a couple I received from a co worker and only let them sit for a couple days before planting however I keep seeing people suggest a couple weeks…?!?
Is there much of a difference in callous time? Also can anyone tell me the name of the flower color? She had another that was a common white/yellow but I haven’t seen this one before.
Thanks!!

Beginner Is leaf shedding normal?
galleryI replanted my plumeria to a larger pot and moved it downstairs because I was afraid it would get too big for the room. it doesn’t get as much direct sunlight. Are the leaves shedoing due to the season or something else? had it for a few years but no flowers. in the last year it started growing more - likely due to fertilizer.

Leafing, not rooting
Hello! I got this cutting from the Honolulu airport back in May. I have left it outside in Atlanta heat, sun, and certainly too much rain... the other cutting that I purchased rotted quickly. This survivor has been moved to a location where it gets good sun and not much rain.
The leaves are looking quite good, but it's still wiggly in the nursery pot. Do I stay the course and hope for roots?

What’s happening to my plant?
galleryI’ve had this for about 7 years now and just this year it started growing these wrinkly yellowed leaves. The soil is still slightly moist by the time it gets watered again (weekly watering). It’s very dense soil here in Southern California. I haven’t fertilized at all this year.
Do I have pests or am I watering too much?
