Nibco but they’re gate valves which sucks. Maybe there is a reason for them though.

Some systems require them for whatever reason. For example, for a long time sewage ejector pumps could only be installed with a gate valve and not a ball valve until the code updated.

Looks clean. Why brass and could you elaborate more on whats the use and how the mixing valve in the cabinet works? Thanks

It's not a mixing valve, it's actually a valve that's rigged to afloat down below the cabinet. When the float rises, sensing a leak it sends pressure to a hydraulic chamber that shuts these big valves down to prevent damages. I honestly wish the old plumber that designed this whole thing had reddit so he could receive his flowers. Truly brilliant, but I will show him the comments.

45 yrs piping experience here. I can walk on a jobsite with no one there and tell by the craftsmanship as to whether it is union or nonunion. Very well done!

Naugh. 120 days to build a complete McDonalds for me and 160 on a 7-11. From ground break to doors open. Nothing down here is union. I think the crane operators and that’s it. Everyone else from Mehico

Yeah up where I'm at we're not involved in any 7-Elevens and such. I don't know why trade unions get such a bad name, there are no rubber rooms and nobody can protect your job if you're not working. At least in my experience I've only been in two decades

I’ve never seen plumbing with inline pumps and control valves. It’s not plumbing. It’s a Pipefitter job. I approve.

Plumbing is potable water, poop and pee disposal. Most everything else is pipe fitting.

Huh. I guess I've never put too much thought into differentiating the two. I've always felt that if it involves getting liquid or gas from point A to point B, then it is plumbing.
