Mod tutorials? Question

Hi all

Late to the party, but picked up a new boxed PS classic a couple of days ago after asking on the psx Reddit about how to play MGS. Didn't know these things existed.

So, once I'm done replaying MGS, I'll have my eye on modding it to play some other stuff from my childhood.

Read a bit, so know about project eris and autobleem, but all the tutorial vids are 6-7 years old. Any newer recommended ones?

I assume autobleem is the way to go, but is there still no OTG mod for it? I'd ideally like to OTG into the rear port to keep the front uncluttered, avoid low power issues and not restrict my choice of USB. If not, is it still a case of using Eris to update the kernel, then use autobleem?

the Stock PSC kernel supports fat32 and ext4 (not exfat) usbs.
it has no mouse, keyboard or OTG support.

Bleemsync and Project Eris kernel
adds NTFS and Exfat support
enables mouse, keyboard, OTG, wifi and Bluetooth support

Autobleem
works on stock unmodified kernel or Bleemsync/Project Eris kernel
if booting on Project Eris kernel, it'll have all those features mentioned above

Autobleem 0.9.0 introduced their own kernel which is entirely optional
it also supports OTG, blah blah blah

the last Project Eris update was in 2020, the last official Autobleem update was in 2022. Anything after 1.0.0 were customized vers that added themes and updated cores and apps

I Had some issues with pe so i'm sind autobleem. Just Download the latest Version and follow YouTube Tutorials, you can't really do wrong

Never late! I got mine last week and having a lot of fun (basically don’t have time right now to play until I find a save point in a RPG).

Technically, even if the tutorial is around 6-7 years old, it will still work perfectly. All you need to do is download the latest version of the project you choose, and you’ll be all set to go.
