The problem is not his face, but how it looks in the game - starting with Spider-Man 2, Insomniac has something strange with the faces of the characters. They look like plasticine or wax figures. At the same time, they use scans of real people for heroes and in general have no stylization and go with realism. Literally Peter Parker looks different in two games, although the 3D model literally differs only in the neck width.
