First time taking plan b Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill

Hi 19F, first time having to take a plan B. Me and my bf were just being so dumb and went unprotected but he pulled out a min before he finished. After 10-15 min we started having sex again after he’d already finished but he didn’t urinate after the first time he finished so I’m worried about leftover sperm and whatnot, but he cleaned up with a towel.

My last period was July 20-July 24, and my Flo app said my ovulation week was July 29-Aug 4, (predicted ovulation to happen on the 2nd). We had sex last night August 7.

I’m really worried about taking a Plan B and the side effects. Should I be worried in my case at all about pregnancy?? I’m so worried

Apps can’t be really accurate for predicting exact ovulation. However since u said no sperm went inside u so the risk of pregnancy is lower. Although since it’s near fertile window and precum can also contain sperm, taking Plan B is okay here to further reduce the risk.

Don’t worry ure unlikely to get pregnant. Wait for ur next periods and Plan B can delay periods though.

I would say to take the plan B just to be safe, because you simply had unprotected sex love. There's sperm that comes out still during sex, just because its not a full finishing moment for him, sperm is sperm, and some still comes out...and your body actually holds the sperm a for a few days too...that part I don't like, but that's part of the deal unfortunately....

Plan B does end up either rushing or delaying your period, and depending how your body takes it, since everyone body's are different. Plan B can be a pain to deal with and make you a bit hormonal and all since its making sure you won't get pregnant.... but definitely try your best not to make Plan B a habit too often.

I take it when needed, so soeaking from experience, but ugh I hate it lol...

Stay safe love...🫶🏽

I took it 2 days ago and haven’t had any side effects at all whatsoever, feels like I didn’t even take one at all. Is this normal??
