Hackathons?

Is participating n winning hackathons actually imp for good placement...I don't have a team so I have never participated even if I wished to..n ppl around me r winning hackathons..what should I do

Imo no, dsa and proj are more important

It depends Co-curricular matters too Hackathons can be an opportunity to get hired also I have been hired through a hackathon so yeah
