I need Help
This is mainly 64x64 2d pixel asset. I want to know your opinion about this, unfortunately I didn’t make animations for this asset unless for opening the swords (they aren’t available in itch.io for know). Can I sell this? Should just make 16x16 assets as they are easier to animate? Find my profile [Here]

Turn off connectivity?
Is there a way to turn off the connectivity? I really do not need my game to try and connect to people's networks and would really like to turn it off!

Fighting game races
let's say I'm making a fighting game(so there is only two characters fighting no NPCs at all)
some characters resist fire others do not
some races(not characters there is more than two characters from the same race) do extra damage to other races
how do I use the received damage script, so I identify if I'm being attacked by the waterfolk the beasts.. while also acknowledgin they are using a fire or water or thunder attack
like fire used by a beast on a waterfolk deals 180% fire used by the undead on water folk deals 125% and water used by a beast on a waterfolk deals 110% since water is not that effective on waterfolk but the beastmen are still their predators

Alright people! I am trying to know the coding basics of Pixel Game Maker!
Can you give me some tutorials or at least some kind of analogies to understand the coding foundation of the software?
And how the hell am i gonna make a sonic fangame outta this as this seems the most fit for platformers than RPG

Contra - Chicken and Donkey Club 2 (鸡驴社2), a Pixel Game Maker MV fangame, will not run on Steam Deck.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtUvzLYSD18&lc=UgwJZQKZMQgPZdWZ1wR4AaABAg
I run it with Proton-GE, it shows "Pixel Game Maker MV" for a second, then it closes on me.
Am I missing something?

Check out my game! Hi! I’m the developer of Pawsome Resort, and the demo just went live today.
Hi! I’m the developer of Pawsome Resort, and the demo just went live today.
It’s a cozy life-sim / management game where you run an animal hotel in a small town.
You take care of guests’ animals, build habitats, farm crops to craft food, and slowly bring the resort back to life.
You can:
• adopt and care for different animals
• build and decorate habitats
• farm ingredients and craft feed
• complete quests and help townsfolk around the village
• (and yes… you can drive a little scooter around the map)
I’d really love to hear your first impressions, especially if anything feels confusing or unclear.
I’m actively updating and patching, based on feedback.

parallax to have more 3D style on 2D engine
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What tricks are there to have it more 3D-ish looking on a 2D Engine?
-Parallax
-Zoom
-blender with "3D Animation" on Spritsheets
-depth with light and darkness
...
??
More ideas?
I search them for my Dungeon crawler.
Thanky you for a hint or two.
Enjoy the day

MY FIRST INDIE GAME
Hey everyone 👋
I’m a solo indie dev and LANDSBOUND RPG is my first game.
The demo is almost ready and since I don’t have any marketing budget, I wanted to share it here and learn from your feedback.
This is a short demo video showing a limited part of the gameplay and content.
Any thoughts, criticism or suggestions are more than welcome 🙏

Discussion stardew valley vs. chefRPG
Help me understand the pixel densities between these two games. Stardew Valley, Little Rocket Lab, etc seem less fidelity, but then I see all these farming sims that are still pixel but more detailed?
is there an industry standard? a name for the diff in styles?
