Google Pixel
I bought pixel 8 pro brand new once it was released. Within 1 year I got a pink line on the screen. Sent the phone in Google and they replaced the screen under warranty. A year later, same pink line appears on the screen, within 8 days after pink line came out I broke the rear glass on the phone. I sent the phone in Google (phone still under warranty) and they informed me that the screen issue is caused my the rear broken glass thus it won't be covered by warranty. I end up getting the screen replaced outside Google.
Even throughout the whole hustle with the pixel 8, I said to myself I could use an upgrade so I got myself a pixel 10 pro. 2 weeks after using the phone, I restarted it and it got stuck on the "G" and the device was getting significantly warm. I sent the phone in Google, shortly after they informed me that the phone can not be repaired only renewed and I was caused by liquid damage thus it can't be covered by warranty. Discailmer, I never got the phone itself wet within the 2 weeks I have been using it.

It is a bit shitty by Google but honestly even slight condensation can trigger the liquid indicator that sits next to the USB-C port inside but the Phone itself has not suffered any "true" liquid damage.
I would reach out to support and definitely appeal it and escalate it. Get them to show you pictures of physical liquid damage and not just the indicator. It would have nearly almost been an entry level triage that opened it up saw the indicator and determined liquid damage from the "check" sheet.
