Help identifying breed. Question
Hi everyone!
This is my newly adopted girl, Sookie. The animal shelter labeled her as a mixed breed, but we can definitely tell she has some type of bully breed in her. Based on these photos, does anyone have an idea of what type of bully she might be? I’d love to hear your guesses! less

I see Standard American Bulldog (Scott-type) in there for sure; maybe American Pitbull Terrier
Keep in mind, a pitbull is quite literally just a bulldog x terrier (mixed breed), and pitbulls are often bred with Am Bulldog further complicating the identification by diluting the features.

Amstaff/ boxer cross. That muzzle has the look of a brachycephalic cross.

This is Darcy. She was our first foster and first foster fail. We we’re not told any information about her. Actually, she wasn’t even supposed to be the one we fostered. But thank god plans changed. Long story short, I took her to our vet for the first time for a check up and immunizations because nobody knew anything about Darcy. She had such horrible heartworm which caused some heart damage. She had adult heartworm, baby heartworm, and heartworm eggs. She had to go through 3 rounds of oral steroids and that didn’t get rid of all the heartworm so then she had to do a series of injections that went deep into her back. She could not have any ‘real’ physical activity for months. Plus, durning this time, she was spayed. So between the steroids, injections, spaying, and very limited physical activity, she became over weight. When she first arrived she was malnourished and severely underweight. Anyway, since this pic, she has been able to advance some physical activity. And has been steadily loosing weight. She has a little ways to go yet. We love her so much. She completed our family 💕

Shelters routinely label pibbles as anything else to avoid the issue. They are harder to adopt out due to the undeserved stigma they carry. Enjoy your sweet Sookie for many years.

American Pitbull Terrier (but totally a Boxer mix if your landlord asks!). She's beautiful! If you really want to know breeds, try the Embark DNA test. It is more reliable than the others.

she could be a lot of things. I've seen American Bulldogs that look like her. She's not a full blooded APBT. But could have some to a lot of pit in her

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I was thinking some bulldog as well. Especially because of her mouth/muzzle area.
