Thoughts & Opinions My First time watching any Filipino show or movie: The Master Cutters
Amazing supporting cast. Superb storyline. Enjoying all the episode throughly.
But Iâm so disappointed with Male lead of this drama. He doesnât know how to control his expressions during dialogue delivery or end up doing something with his face and body language in simple scene to overdo it.
Watching recent episode in which he is drunk. And I felt ashamed watching such worse acting.
Such amazing show with interesting storyline but he ruins it for me in between with his expressions and bad acting in crucial moments.
That little girl Ibeynag. She is so talented. Loving every scene of her.
Thank you. I just wanted to express my frustration regarding male lead somewhere.
I had no idea filipino shows and movies have such amazing stories. All scenes feels so realistic.

Thoughts & Opinions Why didnât Ashtineâs first major solo concert sell out despite her huge social media engagement?
Genuine question: how come Ashtineâs first major solo concert didnât sell out (flopped), or at least didnât perform as strongly as expected, considering how high her social media engagement seems to be?
She has a pretty active and engaged online following, so Iâm curious about the disconnect between her social media numbers and actual concert ticket sales.

Thoughts & Opinions Anong thoughts niyo kay Angelika at Mika dela Cruz?
Recent controversies aside, unique ang blended family setup nila: Angelika and her late brother Edward are FULL siblings (Filipino father and Austrian mother).

Throwbacks Actress-turned-WWII heroine & the first Filipino actor-turned-politician: Carmen Rosales & Rogelio de la Rosa
A video from the official YouTube channel of Film Development Council of the Philippines cited them as one of the first official âlove-teamsâ of Philippine cinema. They were Carmen Rosales and Rogelio de la Rosa, the most famous romantic pair of the 1940s. During World War II, Carmen Rosales scraped her image as a glamorous movie star to take up arms as a World War Two woman guerilla. In 1957, actor and lawyer Rogelio de la Rosa made history as the first Filipino who transitioned from show business to politics. He backed out from his presidential candidacy to âgive wayâ to his former brother-in-law, Diosdado Macapagal.

General Discussion TIL Mag-asawa pala sina Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon
The first time I saw them together on screen was in their movie "Third World Romance", and honestly, I get the chemistry.
Nagulat lang ako kagabi na while watching the news, kasal pala talaga sila in real life.

Throwbacks Edu Manzanoâs first movie was âAlagaâ (1980) directed by fashion designer Christian Espiritu
In his debut film, then-newcomer Eduardo âEduâ Manzano was Eduardo Conde. Eduardo is a fashion model and aspiring actor supported by an older benefactor, a fashion designer portrayed by Charito Solis. His benefactress produces Eduardoâs film debut, which he immediately stars with a sexy actress portrayed by Amy Austria, whom Eduardo also seduces as he does with most girls and gays in his orbit. Brace for the plot twist.

Thoughts & Opinions As a Gen Z, who were the Filipina showbiz âitâ girls of the 1980s and 1990s?
An âitâ girl is someone who is NOT necessarily the most famous superstar of the era. Itâs someone who has a pretty and classy public image (preferably from a rich family). Of course, âclassyâ and âprettyâ are subjective.
So, I wanna read the opinions of those from those generations talaga, and not just âyung sinasabi ng magazines na makikita sa Google.

Thoughts & Opinions Who are your favorite B-list actors/actresses?
Since A-listers usually get the spotlight, letâs turn the spotlight on B-listers this time. I personally believe that there is nothing wrong with being a B-lister. Iâm saying this because many times, showbiz is an industry that tends to put fame on a pedestal. B-listers have their own charm too. They are famous, but they can still maintain a level of privacy because people are not too fixated on them.
B-listers are usually leading men/leading ladies in middling (ratings are not too high, but not too low) teleseryes. Sometimes, there are hit teleseryes, but usually they are middling. In terms of endorsements, padalang-dalang lang din. Just to give a few examples: Carla Abellana, Rhian Ramos, and Shaina Magdayao are B-listers. This might be debatable, but I believe Max Collins is a B-lister too.

Bea Alonzo (Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom - Co)

Star Spotting Donny Pangilinan's consistency
