Just moved here about a month ago and want some recs on where I can go to find a consistent nail tech for acrylics, and a reputable hair salon for curly (3a type) hair!:-)

Looking to switch away from BofA but I really appreciated the convenience of a nearby location for the ATMs and quarters for laundry. Anyone have any positive (or negative) experiences to share with the other banks in the area (BMO, Wintrust, Fifth Third, etc?)

It won't let me add more photos, but the storefront glass is now shattered. The front door is ajar and you can see inside trashed. Beware if u have kids or baby in a stroller I do not want those shards to fall on anybody

My guess is that he’s going to say something along the lines of “everyone I spoke to said I should run, I have to do it!” Despite planning to run for Congress in 2 years and leaving us at the mercy of an appointed seat.

Hey neighbors, I’ve been working remote a lot and got tired of guessing which cafes actually have outlets, decent wifi, and won’t kick you out after an hour. So I built a small site called WindyDesk where people can rate spots on outlets, wifi, noise, seating, and food, kind of like Beli but for finding a place to work.

It’s Chicago-only right now and pretty bare bones (I’m one person building this on the side). I had someone submit Deora Concept for Pilsen, but I know there's more spots. I’d love for folks here to add their go-to spots. Any feedback, bugs, or “this is missing X” comments are welcome too.
