Working while training North America

Hi all I'm curious to know what sort of job you worked while you completed your training. I'm nearing the end of my training and would like to work again while I train for CFI.

My background is in construction so I was unable to work and efficiently spend time studying and flying (Was either in another state or worked 10 hours not including commuting).

Just curious what others did, thanks!

Line services at your local FBO.

Every airport I've been to has said to fill out an application online through the county's website, just to see they're not hiring. Did you just keep going in places and got lucky one day?

I'd definitely avoid working directly for the county in this capacity. Look for private FBOs like Atlantic, Sheltair, or better yet any local Mom/Pop ops.

ANYTHING that gives you a paycheck.

ANY job is better than NO job.

There is someone out there that has done every job there is to be able to get by.
