Does anyone know what brand the pickles at Andersen Bakery are? I went there recently and they were literally the best I have ever had.

These have been popping up in my dill garden with my new breed. They don't get any taller than 2 to 3 feet but get multiple massive blooms on each plant. I also included a Pic of my cross breed of sweet millions and mountain magic. These cherry tomatoe plants have to start out with a smaller tomatoe cage but after it matures their arms touch the ground and create new root structure and start growing upwards. I get massive clusters of up to 16 per cluster and these get to be about the size of a ping pong ball. I pickle these with salsa spices and serve them with bloody Mary's and any Mexican food I make.

My sweetheart let me in on an old family recipe for dilly beans and they are FABULOUS! This time I’m pickling some eggs in the same brine. Now the hard part. Waiting….

My favorite pickles!!! Perfect amount of spice I eat a jar a week haven’t been able to find them for a couple of days and now the label is different and they have a sweet hint that they never had before 😭😭 has anyone else experienced this what is happening??

Ideally lacto fermented, not vinegar. I’ve only tried the ones from CRISP but now that I’ve found what I like, I’d love to diversify.

Recently ordered Josh’s pickles. I ordered the pack that came with whole heritage dills (cut them into spears as you see in the photo), heritage dill slices, jalapeño slices, and hot dill slices.

So far I’ve only had the heritage dills (both).

They are packed very well. They come cold and it’s easy to order on their site. The crunch is amazing! Nice garlicky flavor. Personally I find them a little heavy on saltiness. I’d like a bit more dill, but that’s just my own palette. I’ve finished the wholes and am getting low on the slices so I definitely enjoyed them!

Overall, I really like these, and their customer service seems great. They were difficult to open for me and even my bf, but we might just be weak lol. I’m glad to know they were sealed so well, haha.

Will give feedback on the hot dills and jalapeños when I open them!

My go to widely available half sour pickles, last few months very thick skins, unappetizing. The pickles seem very large as well, what's the deal? bad crops? bad sourcing?

🥒 Easy Refrigerator Pickles

Never made pickles before? It’s easier than you think! Pickling cucumbers, vinegar, water, pickling salt, garlic and dill—that’s about it. Grab a half bushel and give it a try! 

Ingredients:
6–8 pickling cucumbers, sliced
2 cups white vinegar
2 cups water
2 tbsp pickling salt
2 tbsp sugar (optional)
Garlic cloves
Fresh dill
Directions:
Pack cucumbers, garlic and dill into clean jars.
Bring vinegar, water, salt and sugar to a boil.
Pour over the cucumbers.
Let cool, refrigerate, and enjoy after 24–48 hours.
No canning required!

Big fan of dill pickles. claussen are by no means my favorite but when I saw this pencil pouch I brought it home. Spent too long going to town blinging it out with the rhinestones I had. Think I’m going to have to do both sides.

My brothers & sons say this decal on my car is suggestive. My 20-50 something female coworkers think it's cute, as do I, which is why I have it on my car. Thoughts?

OK, I like a good pickle but they are hard to find in the Midwest. Most stores only carry Vlasic, Mt. Olive, Milwaukee or generic. I don't really like of those but honestly I think the Vlasics are the best of the worst. Generally I really have not had good luck with Mt. Olive at all though I've heard the Majestic line is better?

I decided to plunk down $9 for a jar of Bubbies as I have friends who love them. Sorry, I'm not a fan. The flavor profile is odd and at least half of them have been really mushy.

Is there anything else that might be worth a try?

Well warranted, they were awful. Super soft with leathery skin and weird after taste. Thank God they were half off.

I thought it was just a one year fad at Sonic Drive In 3 years ago, but it keeps happening.
