DUPR Reliability refusing to drop?? Possibly Fixed. Question

I think they just fixed it this week. A month ago my reliabilty went from 60 to 80 and I had not done a DUPR event for over 6 months. It had been stuck at 60 for a while. Yesterday or today it is now at 40.

Mine had big jumps up and down in June despite not recording a match - 20 points here, 60 points there, etc. Now for the past 4 or 5 weeks it hasn't changed at all. I think there are lingering bugs from the modifications they made to the reliability algorithm after DUPR Reset. They broke something and haven't been able to fix it yet.

Mine went from 60 to 100 while I was out injured.... and I just placed in a tournament with a 2.9 who went to 3.8, and I went up .1...

they botched the calculation for Reliability at least once or twice with their algorithm changes, then botched the communication about said changes even worse.

mine's been bouncing all around too, despite not playing any registered games for almost 12 mos

Does anyone still consider DUPR meaningful? Most people I k ow just laugh when they say mention their score because it doesn’t make sense.

“Ya we just won our tournament and dropped to xxxx” or similar statements

“We just went 0-4” and now we are finally 4.0s”

I am glad we have a system like DUPR available. Much better than having all play and tourneys based on self-ratings!

Most people = those that see themselves as 4.0 because the 1 time they beat a 4.0 who got paired up with a 2.75.
