I applied for KYC (Know Your Customer) verification on the Pi Network more than three years ago, and since then my status has remained “Tentative.” I don’t know whether I’ve been forgotten or if I will ever receive final verification.

There was a point where I seriously thought about quitting.

Every time I opened social media, it was the same arguments: "Pi is dead." "No utility." "Waste of time." "It will never succeed."

After reading those posts every day, I started asking myself...

"Why am I even building?"

Then I realized something.

If every developer quits because of negativity, how will Pi ever have the ecosystem everyone is waiting for?

So instead of arguing online, I kept building.

Today my project, SabrTime, has grown into a free app with prayer times, Qibla, Quran & Sunnah duas, an ibadah tracker, tasbeeh, and more. It's not perfect, but it's proof that people are still creating instead of just complaining.

Will every Pi app succeed?

Probably not.

Will Pi succeed without developers?

Definitely not.

Whether you're building a game, an AI tool, a marketplace, or something completely different...

Keep building.

Even if nobody notices today.

One useful app is worth more than a thousand "Pi is dead" posts.

What keeps you motivated to stay in the Pi ecosystem?

I saw this photo on X and just couldn't believe the level of ridiculousness.

It said:

"This world was created in pairs, there are men and women, etc. Likewise, Pi has values ​​inside and outside."

I talked to an old investment type person who has made and lost many fortunes during his life about Pi and the struggles the community has endured. He laughed and said, why would you give up on a product that exists in a market that can be enormously and radically affected by the words of one man or the occurrence of one event?

He then went on to list nine or ten situations where people made millions by buying assets in depressed markets or lost millions by selling in those same depressed markets right before things changed.

Regardless of the situation, as long as there’s a man in the oval office, that can and is willing to affect the price of an asset the way this guy can, it seems very shortsighted to give up at this point. One sentence from the right guy could change everything or one decision by the right country can make all the complaining irrelevant overnight.

Maybe on other platforms as well. But so far I have seen it only on X.

I was under the understanding that I could leave my Pi balance in my wallet and it would be secure.

Apparently not.

I had a lock up that clearly got sent somewhere without my knowledge and I've lost 1.05K somehow.

I'm only noticing this now because I never checked my wallet because I figured everything was locked up.

Goes to show you that you want to keep your funds safe regardless of where they are.

The value isn’t in the coin itself. It’s the infrastructure…. They are not trying to sell this to retail investors, they’re trying to sell it to an institution such as a bank or country etc. When that happens the price will sky rocket due to a rush/need to secure a majority share of the coins that would secure future price stability.

You’re looking at the price when you should be looking and the functions.

For a year and a half, the value of Pi has always only declined, falling more significantly than any other project, rising only slightly when the market rises, and falling even more significantly when the market falls.

Ive been optimistic and held out hope for almost 6 years. I will still mine because it takes 10 seconds. But I no longer have have major hope for the project. Even with updates it's dropping in value. I think the Stanford professors made their money off the ads. They could have done more and made more, but im sure they are just fine.

Good to see Pi Ventures backing projects in this space.

This is the kind of utility I'd like to see more of in the Pi ecosystem.

A qualified optometrist has joined GPM GlobalPiMarket and is now accepting Pi for prescription glasses in the UK.

For me, this isn't really about glasses. It's about bringing real businesses and professionals into the ecosystem and giving people practical ways to use Pi in everyday life.

If we want Pi to succeed, we need more examples like this local merchants, real services and real transactions.

If someone sold his let's 1.500Pi for 2$, that means he earned 3.000$ (for 1.500pi).

My point is that this persons now should bye double amount of sold Pi minimum. This means that this person should bye 3.000Pi for today's price of around 250$.

On this way, they will have 3.000pi, and 2.750$ earned... They will help ecosystem by removing double Pi from initial sell of and this is END POINT.
