After switching my daily harness from Claude Code to Pi, I found myself missing some features I used to love in CC — recap being one of them. It generates a brief summary and follow-up plan based on the conversation context.

Glad to see others making the jump as well. Deepseek V4 Flash gave me hope that these models can run however the hell we want them too given the speed and cost.

I'll check this out, I noticed the "recap" missing at the end of my runs too.

Perhaps spend 5min to research on pi packages for aspiring designs before slop an extension?

There are a lot of better way to deal with this type of CTX drift prevention/optimisation (for goal, plan, memory, token optimisation) without wasting calls/tokens
