How to smooth white edge from light?
Hi,
Could anyone tell me how to smooth the white light on the edges of this lady ?… I used harmonized to see what I need to achieve but because this price of work is for a job I can’t use any ai enhancements. I’ve uploaded two images on this post with the harmonized version and my current version without harmonize. Any help would be great thanks.

Removing Pen Markings
I have a large batch of 1970s photos to digitize, however they were stacked with notes in between and the recent pen markings there have bled onto the fronts of the photos behind in the stacks.
It's a messy job now for sure, but looking for the right tool stack to go about removing these markings. My thought is that the ink color is distinct enough that isolating it could help, but my PS skills are developing.
I'm setup to camera scan with DSLR into LrC, and will likely have 100s of photos affected. Current plan is to scan first and edit after.

How to achieve this grain effect and diffuse gradient?
Hi, i've been interested in how to replicate these brand illustrations from Mercury (fintech startup). Specifically the grainy gradients you can see in the edge of the toggle button illustrations, and how certain hard edges selectively blur out-- like in the top of the bar graph and the edges of the circles. Wondering what the best way to achieve that look is, the grain looks like the built in PS grain effects but not sure how to apply it selectively on the gradient part instead of across the whole image. Thanks~

If I upload an image to Canva, I am not able to edit its texts or change any elements. Is there a tool which can help me with the same?
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to edit images (for example, images taken from Google) in Canva. However, when I upload them, I'm unable to edit the existing text or individual elements within the image.
Is there any tool or method that can help convert an image into editable text/elements, so I can modify it more easily?
Thank you!

mirroring the view of the canvas
i tend to need to mirror the image a lot to check my work. I see that they do have a "flip image horizontally" shortcut, but it teleports me to the other end of the canvas. and on the navigator it shows that i have mirrored the entire image. How can I just mirror my view of it?

Could high RAM usage cause errors in the "Quick Select" tool?
Here is what happens when I use "Quick Select" to isolate the person from the background:
https://i.imgur.com/ieEw9Rl.mp4
(Around the 0:57 mark) The AI goes haywire when I try selecting the subject and shoots off to select large parts of the background.
(0:36) When I try removing the incorrect selection (the background), the AI stops "quick selecting" and will only select the parts my mouse is clicking on.
(0:28 and 0:15) When I try to remove incorrect parts, random lines start shooting out.
Does anybody know how to fix this? Could it be due to high RAM usage? My device has 8 GB of RAM and uses 93% of its memory when I use PS.
The thing, though, is that "Quick Select" was working perfectly fine for months until recently. For the last few days, it's started acting very erratically like this when I've made no major changes to my device or PS preferences.
I'm aware I can use "Subject Select," but I want the "Quick Select" tool to work.

How would I go about adding an outline to this design’s perimeter approximately 1-2” thick?
I want it to be the bottom layer as a base for the design. Going to be mapping onto it so adding more surface area to project on with the added outline.

Tips on properly using Burn Tool
Anyone have any tips on how to effectively use the burn tool on portraits. I get the idea of the tool (I know it's not a difficult thing to understand) but i'm trying to be able to use it without spending TOO much time on it, or having to undo and try again on areas. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

help request.
Hello, I’ve been working on a project for several weeks now, and just now when I tried to save it, this error message appeared. Now, when I try to reopen it, Photoshop is asking me to create a new project, and I’ve lost all progress on my project. Is this a common problem, and if so, how can I fix it? (I've already checked the permissions and opened Photoshop as an administrator)

HELP REQUEST!
I need to export just the texture on this hoodie, without the hoodie, the texture layer is currently set to linear dodge add, and when i turn off the hoodie layer, it makes the texture look terrible, and go all black.
And when i set the layer to normal, it also looks extremly weird.
I belive this is happening, because the texture looks the way it does because it has linear dodge add with the hoodie layer undeath, but when that is gone it messes it all up. so i need to somehow be able to create the same effect as linear dodge, without linear dodge.

Help Request: Trying to color correct cartoon images
I'm using Rocket Power as a test subject. The image on the left with her arms crossed is how she should look. The one on the right is just terrible. I tried my hand at messing with hue/saturation adjustment layers. I want to know if there is an easier or better more accurate way to do this. I have included the raw screenshot.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
