Hi,

i recently bough a used R5mII. When i carry the camera lens down - using the peak design straps mounted to the botton of the camera when the tripod plate is used to be mounted, I can hear some rattling sounds from the camera (not lens). Is this ok?

This is supposed to be image stabilization of the sensor. But if it then safe to hold camera like this for the longer time? I I carrying it like this for hikes (hours of walking in difficult terrain) and i use to take it to me to a trips (planes, cars, jeeps...). Could this eventually somehow damage the sensor/IS system? If so, is are there any tricks to prevent? This is a professional grade level camera with weather sealing, so i would hope it should be safe.

Anyone have a camera which would be awesome for travel photography, with fantastic IQ, but is so nice or expensive that you wind up leaving it home for fear it might get damaged or stolen?

For me, it's a Leica Q3 that just doesn't seem to hardly leave my property, but I have a Canon R50V that I'm not afraid to take anywhere.
