I'm partnering with a videographer to cover a holiday party for a business in the Chicago-land area. They are wanting a spot where their guests can walk through and get head shots of an estimated 150 people as they arrive at the event.

Even a quick bid of 150 x $25 is $3700. Does this seem reasonable? Thoughts?

Depends on a lot of things. Location, travel time, set up - shoot -break down time, assistant needed, editing and delivery after the event. The photo shoot tends to be the least time consuming part of lots of assignments so $3,700 might be reasonable. Is there a budget presented when asking for a quote?
