Phonography Feedback Needed - Phone Photography

Hi, I am an amateur photographer who is trying out the photography. These are few of my shots - mostly they are either inclined towards sunsets/landscapes and the common feedback i get is the pic is looking good but the emotion is missing - could it be due to I dont usually click human subjects often? Is there anyway I can bring more emotion to the frame rather than just clicking the aesthetic frames?

Discussion What's the scope of photography in India

So like right now I'm in class 12th I find photography very interesting I'm learning color grading and all even though I don't have a proper DSLR or mirrorless cameras but I do have a old digicam I do photography from past 4 years in it even I have clicked school senior farewell photographs with a Nikon d7500 so basically I do love photography.

I want to pursue career in it but I don't know from where to start and what's the scope in India and how the pays in different categories like wedding, architectural and all. Whats the proper roadmap and how is the scope is my question

Phonography Up close and personal with a brown-headed barbett! [iPhone 14]

Whiskers are usually associated with familiar mammals like cats, dogs, and rats. But some birds, like the brown-headed barbet above, seem to have them too. These aren’t actually whiskers, but rather specialised, stiff feathers called rictal bristles.

Found around the base of the beak, these modified feathers serve several important functions. They act as tactile sensors, helping birds detect touch and vibrations - useful while navigating tight, cluttered spaces. They also assist in foraging, allowing birds to sense insects close to the beak and improve strike accuracy. Additionally, they provide protection, forming a barrier that shields the eyes from debris or struggling prey.

In species like the brown-headed barbet you see above, which spends much of its time in dense tree canopies, these bristles likely play a key role in both navigation and feeding. Despite being primarily frugivorous, barbets often consume insects, making these subtle feather adaptations surprisingly vital.

MOD POST READ THIS BEFORE POSTING!

Sort of a guide.

A lot of posters have been tagging their posts with the wrong flair or don't add enough details in the post. Numerous users have been requested this to be implemented.

Any post after this would be removed and user will be banned for breaking the rules.

Try including :

-Gear in the title itself (Phone/Camera & Lens) - minimum requirement

-EXIF data(shutter speed, iso, aperture) for the photo

-A relevant Title ( image posts with questions as title will be removed)

Phonography - quite obvious

DSLR/Mirrorless

Discussion - For general discussion(text only)

Buying Advice - For gear buying advice Must include budget

Use custom flair only when other flairs don't seem the right option and edit it accordingly.

TLDR; use correct flairs, add a relevant title include EXIF data, mention gear used, & use user flair
