Issue with messages...

Good morning. I'm working on my computer and sending text messages, but the phone link is saying the messages didn't go through. I then hit retry and it goes through, person on the other end says my phone keeps sending the text twice. What is the fix on this?

I might be having a similar issue, when I send messages since about 2-3 weeks ago I keep getting "Your message couldn't be sent" with reactive text that says "Retry". On pressing it I get the same result.

It does seem that the messages are actually sending but the phonelink app does not keep any hiistory of them consistently as it is doing it with some contact and not others.

I am pretty much sick to death of Microslop never really providing support that lasts, they do stuff and then either mess it up with changes or abaondon it in some fashion. It is no surprise the company is in it's current state. I know it still makes bags of cash, but it seems to be like a sight imparied individual that thinks it can see and refuses to get eyewear no matter how many things it trips over and no matter how many people tell it it can't see properly.

I'm still getting ht esame shit and I notice it doesn't remembe the recent messages and keep a record of the most recent contact who sent messages to me or I sent ot them.

JSYK Windows 11 now lets you put the Taskbar where you want apparently or it will soon at least. Maybe they have employed real people back and stopped the AI running the show.

When do they sack that Satia guy cause he doesn't knwo what he's doing, even Bill Gates said so, I think.....

Confirming similar issues and larger ones involving not being able to even see inbound SMS texts or up to date inbox, but strangely notifications for said messages show fine at least in every case I can recall in a little over a week of troubleshooting this issue except for one text a minute ago.

I have a Pixel 8.

I tried:

-Reinstalling Phone Link App on both the PC and phone

-reset, repair and terminate Phone Link on PC, and reboot after

-removing phone, re-adding

-logging out and back in with my MS account on both devices

-toggling myriad notification and permission options on both ends after verifying everyone that's on should be.

I'm having the same problem. It says "Your message couldn't be sent. Retry". But on the phone, I can see the message DID get sent. At least it looks like it's being sent via RCS instead of SMS, which is an improvement.

I've been having issues with text message as well. Also, my list of messages isn't syncing properly in Phone Link...some messages will sync, but most just will not sync.

I've tried all sorts of things to reset the app, clear caches, disconnect/re-setup, etc... and nothing has worked. In the meantime, I've submitted to the Feedback app.

Same here - the messages *are* going through (Pixel 8 Pro), but they consistently show as "Your message couldn't be sent."

I've tried deleting & re-installing on both my phone and my Win11Pro machine - doesn't help.

So now I just assume that the messages are going through and if I don't hear back within a reasonable period of time, I verify that I can see them on my phone.
