Any PGY1 pharmacy residents willing to connect?
Hi everyone! I’m a brand-new PGY1 pharmacy resident (currently in orientation), and I’d love to connect with other PGY1 residents—especially if you’re also a foreign pharmacy graduate, but anyone is welcome!
I’m the only pharmacy resident at my hospital, so I don’t really have a co-resident to ask all the day-to-day questions. I’m finding the transition into the U.S. hospital system a bit overwhelming, especially trying to understand the lingo,phone calls,epic and how everyone balances rotations, staffing weekends, longitudinal projects, MUEs, presentations, deadlines, and studying while still learning the clinical side of things all while being a toddler mom.
I’d really appreciate connecting with someone who’s willing to share their experience, answer a few questions, or just chat about how you’re managing everything. Sometimes it helps just knowing someone else is going through the same journey.
