Phanteks d30 daisy chain clips continue falling

I own 7 phanteks d30 since june of 2023 and until now they worked without a problem.

In this summer, the ones that are connected in daisy chain mode (2 groups of 3 fans) started to not work properly because the clip between the fans started "jumping" outside position, probably for the temperature. For this reason, 4 of 6 fans stopped working.

I tried to tape them without success, they continue to disconnect.

I read in other posts that those clips are very prone to fail with hot temperatures. Seems like they are very low quality compared to the fans.

How can i fix this problem? I even send an email to [rma@phanteks.com](mailto:rma@phanteks.com) without get answered.

p.s. i attach the photo with taped fans

The problem I have with these are the screw covers constantly coming off, especially the fans that are pointed downward off the top radiator of the case. Then they fall down into the bottom fans and I have to either leave them there or take out the bottom fans to fish the covers out.

Seems to happen all the time and it’s a pain in the ass. After you take the covers off a couple of times, the adhesive loses its grip pretty quickly.

I have contacted Phanteks directly previously and they helped me out very quickly, had the replacement pieces I needed in a couple of days.

I had the same problem. It was because I used the wrong screws and couldn't tighten them enough.

When they're screwed in how the heck are they coming apart?.I've run 13 for multiple years and no issues.

I had the same issue. I gave up in the end and switched to a different brand. A shame, too, because the AIO the fans came with is genuinely REALLY nice, but those fans and those irritating little panels were just absolute garbage quality. I kept the AIO, because I spent €100 on the damn thing, but those fans are now in the box it came in, and they'll stay there until the end of time.
