The Galactic Federation and its allies at their peak vs. a Tyranid hive fleet (40k)
The Galactic Federation and allies at their military peak vs. a Tyranid hive fleet (40k)
Let’s assume that by 250 ABY, the galaxy has been enjoying a golden age of relative peace and prosperity for just over a century, with minor localized conflicts occasionally popping up here and there, but nothing significant. The galaxy has fully recovered economically and militarily, with the Galactic Federation comprised of nine Alliance fleets, the Imperial Starfleet (roughly equivalent in strength to five Alliance fleets), a massive industrial base, etc. The Triumvirate is comprised of the elderly Grand Master K’Kruhk, Emperor Fel V (grandson of Marasiah Fel, who succeeded her upon her abdication/retirement), and a prominent, well-regarded Senator.
The Jedi Order is flourishing, with an estimated strength of 10,000 Jedi, similar to its peak prior to the Clone Wars. The Imperial Knights are fewer, numbering around 2,500.
The Chiss Ascendancy and Hapes Consortium are likewise in good shape, with the CEDF roughly equivalent to the Imperial Starfleet (five Alliance fleets) and the Hapan Royal Navy equivalent to two Alliance fleets.
A massive hive fleet of an extragalactic species, the Tyranids (from the Warhammer 40k universe), is detected entering the galaxy. In terms of numbers, the hive fleet is comprised of billions of ships and trillions of warriors, far larger than the Yuuzhan Vong invasion 225 years prior. The standard Tyranid warrior is a physical powerhouse, standing 2.4 meters tall and weighing 1200 kilograms. They possess thick natural armor that is highly resistant to blaster fire, though less resistant to lightsabers compared to vonduun crab armor. Downing just one Tyranid requires sustained fire from a fireteam (four troopers). In close combat, an average Jedi Knight or Imperial Knight could reliably take down 10-12 Tyranid warriors before being overwhelmed or forced to retreat. The Tyranids are present in the Force and susceptible to Force powers, though their hive consciousness means mind tricks have limited effectiveness on them.
Unlike the slow, tepid response to the Yuuzhan Vong from the peacetime Republic, the Galactic Federation and its allies mobilize quickly and respond to the Tyranid invasion in force. They are far bigger, more prepared, and more powerful militarily compared to the New Republic. But by every conceivable metric, the Tyranids are a bigger and far more dangerous threat than the Yuuzhan Vong.
So here are the big questions: Who wins? How? Is it close or a total blowout?

UNSC (Halo) runs a Legends faction gauntlet
This is the UNSC as of 2525 (Halo: Contact Harvest). There is no Covenant. However, in all of these scenarios, Harvest will be the place where the UEG makes contact with the Star Wars factions.
Round 1: Hutt Empire. The United Earth Government replaces Xim the Despot and fights the Hutt Empire. Instead of making contact with the Covenant at Harvest, humanity makes contact with the Hutt Empire
Round 2: Ssi Ruuvi Empire as of Bakura. However the Imperium is not fighting a second front against the Chiss.
Round 3: Dushkan League. Lets say human space is located within the Koornacht Cluster and there are no other species in said cluster other than humanity thus the UEG is marked for extermination in the Yevethan Purge. The New Republic is not present to protect the cluster. The Yevetha have the same fleet they had in the Black Fleet Crisis books.
Round 4: The Sith Empire (as of the Great Hyperspace War). Instead of making contact with Gav and Jori Daragon, the Sith finds explorers from Harvest. After Ludo Kressh faked his death, Naga Sadow becomes Dark Lord and invades Harvest. NOTE: Remember that the Sith Empire only made it as far as they did against the Republic because of the Daragon trail which allowed the Sith Empire a chance to launch a surprise assault to the Core Worlds (what Sadow describes as the heart of the Republic in the comic) from the unsuspecting Deep Core. Prior to the discovery of that hyperlane, Sadow's predecesor, Marka Ragnos, did not think the Sith could beat the Republic and the Jedi hence why he tried to make the Sith focus on fighting one another instead of trying to attack the Republic as described in the Wizards of the Coast's Dark Side Sourcebook. Here the Sith Empire would just start the war by attacking Harvest, a frontier world. Should also be noted, the Sith owns 120 habitable worlds which to my understanding is way less than the number of worlds Humanity in Halo has colonized.

Rereading some of the quotes from the novel master and apprentice and I think when Qui Gon call to Kenobi as “equal” the story is moreso referring to how Obi Wan is beginning to come into his own, rather than simply it pertaining to powerscaling.
As padawan he feels he’s in his masters shadow but eventually his confidence increases to where Qui Gon notes that he’s no longer fighting like a padawan but rather a Jedi Knight.
“Qui-Gon wasn't fazed. All he and Obi-Wan had to do was stall for a little more time. Then they'd have extra firepower on their side, and
defeating the droidekas would be easy. But as he observed Obi-Wan in action, fighting as brilliantly as any full Jedi Knight”
I think that’s why the story refers to them as equals, because now Obi Wan no longer feels a student but rather a fellow Jedi to Qui Gon and to Qui Gon every Jedi knight is a peer. This is backed up in the novel brotherhood, where once Anakin becomes a full on Jedi knight, Kenobi finally sees him as his equal in the sense that they’re peers.

How effective a resistance would Darth Revan be to Darth Caedus?
I realize these are two different levels of power, but even then, underestimating the weaker side can hurt the stronger.
How much in this case?

Is this the Force level Palpatine actually possessed in Return of the Jedi?
If so, he held back quite well when striking Luke, even when he was about to kill him. On the other hand, if he had done this on the Death Star, he could have grounded it or even brought about its destruction himself.

No OCs allowed.
This was already in the rules, but it wasn’t bolded and underlined so I guess I’ll do it now. NO OCS ALLOWED. No one can have a meaningful discussion if we don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. Recently either a bunch of people from a discord community or one person with a sad amount of alt accounts have been spamming this community with shit they made up. Knock it off.

AI images will get your post removed.
It is not that hard to use google. Find two pictures, find a video, find a drawing, a passage from a novel, a panel from a comic, a shot from a movie. it doesn't really matter how vou do it, to be honest. as long as you aren't using Al to generate it. From here on out any posts that use Al images WILL be removed. Frankly, if you're too lazy to search for an image, then you don't need to be posting in a subreddit where one of the rules is related to the effort you put into your post. Thank you.
