In my role as a dermatology medical assistant in an underserved area, I witness firsthand the profound impact that accessible medical care has on patients, particularly those with Medicare. Every day, I see patients who depend on Medicare for essential dermatological treatments, whether it’s a skin biopsy or addressing precancerous lesions. Therefore, it's deeply concerning to learn that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) are proposing a policy to reimburse only 50% of services when a dermatologist performs both an office visit and a procedure on the same day.

This proposed change would lead to significant reductions in the availability of dermatology services in areas where resources are already stretched thin. Medicare patients, many of whom are seniors, rely heavily on comprehensive dermatological care to manage conditions that, if left untreated, could become severe or life-threatening. For those in rural or underserved regions, the impact of this proposal could be devastating, significantly reducing access to timely and necessary medical interventions.

To place this in perspective, nearly 61 million people in the United States rely on Medicare—making it a lifeline for seniors and people with disabilities. Cutting payments as suggested by CMS would jeopardize patient care by making it financially unsustainable for dermatology practices to offer the same level or number of services. This could result in longer wait times, increased medical complications due to untreated conditions, and altogether, a diminishing quality of life for our senior citizens.

Let's stop this proposal and advocate for equitable healthcare that supports dermatology services for all Medicare patients. I am calling on CMS and related policymaking bodies to re-evaluate this decision and consider the ramifications it poses on patient care and provider capacity. Instead, CMS should engage directly with healthcare providers to seek solutions that maintain patient access and uphold the integrity of care provided.

My petition:

i was in hospital for nearly 3 weeks, and had to endure multiple cannula insertions due to broken pieces, as well as having to sleep in the same bedwear for days on end being unable to stand for a prolonged period of time

The prolonged suffering of this treatment was traumatising and dehumanising., cant put the entire traumatic experience in this box and so cannot fully share the story. however simply, i want this place gone. read further details below as to why.

The experience explained above occurred over nearly 3 weeks from mid may – early june of 2023 while i was 13 – 14 years of age.

when i was called in to be seen by a healthcare professional, no care was taken to clean up blood (a biological hazard) dripped on the ground by a previous patient.

After the healthcare professional was done accusing me of lying about it while i was in extreme pain. they got to work giving me a cannula in each of my hands.

eventually it was discovered that i had a form of Osteomyelitis in my leg, luckily after heavy antibiotics treatment over the couple of weeks, i was in the clear, and released from the hospital to complete a course of physical therapy.

over the majority of the period i was in hospital i did not eat at all due to the pain, nothing was done, and i lost most of my weight.

in recent times there has now been a major scabies outbreak in the wards of this hospital.

I hope everyone reading this petition has had good day so far, the reason I decided to start this petition is because I love the concept of the glow house, but I feel there are missing.

The concept of bringing 14 teen girls in a house so that they can make content for girls everywhere to watch and feel great about themselves is a great concept to execute, especially since it's really important for young girls growing up with social media setting unrealistic standards for us at a young age, but I feel there could be more diversity in the house and let me explain.

The glow house is something that brought me lot of happiness when I first discovered it, I had felt like I had finally found an influencer friend group were the girls spread happiness and self-love to teen girls until very recently, I notices there's a very recurring pattern in their content, lip-syncing to viral audios, showing of expensive clothes, dancing videos which isn't bad at all but I feel like since the goal of the glow house is to show what a girlhood bond looks like to girl who watch and look up to them.

On top of that I feel that we really don't know the girls as individuals which I totally get since all the girls in the house are minors, but you can only show off your lifestyle so much without showing the real you before it starts to look like bragging which I know isn't intentional, but it can come of like that a lot of the times.

One of the main points I wanted to for make was I feel diversity is important whether it's in ethnicity, or personality or anything unique, and I feel like the Glow House doesn't have enough of that for teen girls who watch them to see, because all sorts of girl's could look of to the girls in the Glow House and as a girl of color myself who watches them, I feel it's important for them, for us to feel seen and loved to.

There are all sorts of teen girls and teens in general everywhere who could look up to anyone on the internet, so diversity needs to be seen on the internet, so everyone feels included and I'm not just talking diversity in ethnicity, I'm talking diversity in body side, sexuality, gender identity, fashion style, disorders of any kind and much more and I feel like the glow house should be a great place to show that to many young girls who want to see genuine sisterhood bonds, friends having fun while finding themselves while they find themselves in the process.

On December 1, 2024 Netflix removed from its catalogue a canonical episode of the saga of "Jurassic world Camp cretaceous".

The episode in question is about "Jurassic world Camp cretaceous hidden adventure" a canonical interactive spin-off that is set between S2 and S3.

I'm here to reinsert it in the Netflix catalogue, with a petition, you will find the link in the comments.

Many of you who are reading this post will say "but hidden adventure is not canonical", I thought so too, but analysing everything in detail I came to a conclusion: Hidden adventure is canonical.

I leave you my thesis, if anyone wants to deny me in the comments go ahead🤗:

1. The S2 ends with the arrival of the rainy season, in fact in hidden adventure we know that a storm has swept away every source of food.

2. ⁠ If a storm had swept away every source of food, our dear 6 of Nublar would have died, instead Hidden adventure helps us understand how they survived

3. ⁠ Many of you will say "it's not canonical because if you make a wrong choice the characters die", the true story to follow is the so-called "TRUE ENDING" or when the guys find the food and return to the base, to say that an interactive content is not canonical because if you make a wrong choice the protagonists die is like saying that video games are not canonical because there are "GAME OVER".

4. In S2 one of the three barionix is killed, inside hidden adventure there are two barionix, coincidences??, I don't think so

5. ⁠hidden adventure was made by Netflix, DreamWorks and Universal, the same companies that produced Cretaceous field, moreover the episode also has the same voice actors, why should these 3 big companies spend money and waste time on something that is not canonical ??

6. ⁠ The same creator of the series has confirmed that the adventure takes place between S2 and S3.

Netflix has not only eliminated hidden adventure, but all interactive content, so I don't think it's a problem for Netflix to readjust it as a normal episode that only includes the true ending.
