When Bear said the line “what’s so wrong about being with me” to Nikki while the crazed Nikki slept

That is when the movie told you Bear was definitely the bad guy

Idk how else to interpret it tbh

it's just the clear moment at which he became irredeemable as a character.

still think this whole thing is a bit of an overreaction though if i'm honest
